Marianne got dressed with some help and assistance from Flora and Eunalia then took AA's former seat as he started cooking a meal for Marianne, she was quite famished too even if she ingested some military ration before, it was not enough and also because a few hours had already passed since then after all.
The liquid solution in the pod not only gives the said things before but also slightly help in metabolism.
Even if the patient is asleep, they would still continue to digest every nutrient in their body with the help of the liquid solution.
A few hours staying inside the pod is enough to digest everything.
"So... Where are we?" Marianne asked in slight confusion while pouring some tea on AA's 'former' cup that she took for herself now.
"Alister's secret mansion! hihihi! You would not believe it, but we are still on the island that we escaped into!" Eunalia said loudly in glee with giggles.
"Really?" Marianne said doubtfully with a frown.
"That's right! This mansion is in the middle of a patch of trees! It was even very close from where we landed in this island.
This mansion is really so well hidden that we did not even see it earlier." Flora said with slight excitement too.
Marianne hissed in surprise as it was really quite unbelievable for her.
"What about the rescue? Or the guys from the palace?" She asked after sipping some tea and eating some cookies to abate her hunger slightly.
"We did not bother calling again after we got into this mansion.
The guys from the palace will still take time to get here.
But the people in the nearby coast are not trus worthy.
They really feel like someone dubious and suspicious, we don't really want to invite the enemy here while you are still recovering.
We only stayed here in the mansion until now." Eunalia said in a grumble and complain with furrowed brows and a pout.
"That's right!" Flora said while nodding in agreement as she also sipped some of her coffee.
They are sitting around a medium sized tea table, it is oval in shape.
The table had two pots over it, one for tea and one for the coffee, together with the three teacups that three of them are using.
They are currently in the living room where the kitchen is quite close, they can even hear the sound of that AA is making while cooking.
"Wait, where is little Lia?!" Marianne asked suddenly as she noticed that she had not seen the little girl around.
"Still asleep. She was quite exhausted last night from all the things that happened." Eunalia said with a soft smile, glad that her daughter is fine.
"Hmm..." Marianne just hummed and nodded in response as she was eating some cookie.
They just stayed silent for a few moments as they sipped some tea or ate a cookie.
"How do you feel now?" Eunalia asked curiously with a hint of anticipation, wanting to know how it felt like to use the prototype healing pod.
"Better than last night, at least. I still feel weak and the wound still feel painful." Marianne said like it was nothing but everyday stuff with some hand gestures, even.
"That's good! I was really worried before! Don't be so reckless anymore, alright?! You hear me?!" Eunalia said excited at first but then got so stern suddenly in the middle until the end.
"Yes mom!" Marianne said loudly while rolling her eyes but still had a smile on her face as she was glad and happy to have a friend that worries for her.
"You better do so. And also, you really should ask for help from us." Flora added quite sternly too.
"Yes, yes." Marianne responded with another eye roll before trying to divert the topic by saying: "Wait! Why do the two of you have such huge eye bags!"
"What?! Really?!" Eunalia shouted in shock before scampering hurriedly into the drawers in the living room to look for a hand mirror.
"Damn! Me too!" Flora shouted with alarm as she too scampered around.
"Hehehe!" Marianne just laughed at the two of them.
Their commotion was seen by AA as he got into the living room with a push cart used for serving food and of course it had food over it.
The medium sized tea table was big enough for them to place the dishes over it, although the tea set place on the cart to make more space, only their cups and glasses is in the table now.
"Hey, where is my tea cup? And also, what are you two doing?" AA asked with a puzzled look after he had finished serving the food into the table.
"Hehehe! They are worried about their eye bags!" Marianne said loudly with glee as she looked through the foods while licking her lips, with hunger apparent on her face.
"This is Marianne's fault! I would not have stayed up till now if I was not worrying about you!" Eunalia shouted in indignation as she finally saw a hand mirror and started looking at her own face through it.
"Right! It's your fault Marianne! That's why you should gift us with limited edition luxury facial cream that is trending right now on the internet." Flora said as she immediately got together with Eunalia to borrow the hand mirror to look at her own face too.
"That's right! That's right! I concur! I agree! You are the one to blame if I get ugly or looked older, faster!" Eunalia said still with indignation as she hand the mirror to Flora and looked at Marianne who only sat by the table and even started eating already by herself.
AA just sighed and chuckled at their antics while thinking: 'Should I give them some of my special made product that came out accidentally?
Right, why did I not use this thing to earn money?

They just relaxed and rested until the people from the palace finally came.
