Su Wan had the intention of not getting out of the car if he didn't agree.
Jing Chen's tone softened. "I'm doing this for your own good. I won't monitor you. I'm protecting you."
"I don't need protection."
Su Wan was stubborn and couldn't be reasoned with at all. She was just unwilling and refused to let go.
Jing Chen said, "But I can't take care of you 24 hours a day, right? How can I be at ease without someone watching you?"
Su Wan glanced at him coldly. She wished she could press her body tightly against the car door and lean her cheek against the car window. Her tone was slightly higher and she sounded righteous. "You were here 24 hours a day previously. Even your work is in the hospital. You haven't been here for almost half a month. Bai Lian is about to be released from the detention center!"
If that woman came out and knew how Jing Chen treated her, she would be so proud.
