0.7% My Ex Wants Me So Badly After Divorce / Chapter 4: Ring

Capítulo 4: Ring

Editor: Atlas Studios

Su Wan was a living kitchen bomb!

When she enters the kitchen, it's no different from blowing up the kitchen.

She could even burn what she was cooking while following a tutorial. She broke the gas stove because she did not know how to turn the knob. She couldn't adjust the flame while using an induction cooker. When she saw fire while frying something she could even throw the pan and escape immediately.

The oven was even worse.

She was an idiot at cooking.

Even so, she repeated the same thing dozens of times and broke more than ten ovens to perfect the cake!

She happily prepared everything.

However, what greeted her was the divorce papers.

When she reached home, she looked at the trending topics and sighed. She took out the cake from the freezer and stared at it until she was in a daze.

She bit her lips until a row of clear teeth marks appeared on her lips. Just as she was hesitating, Jing Chen's assistant, Xiao Li, came to the villa to retrieve the documents for Jing Chen.

She hurriedly carried the cake over and asked, "Why don't you bring the cake over to Jing Chen? It won't taste good tomorrow."

Everything had gone to waste.

Xiao Li was stunned.

Xiao Li said regretfully, "President Jing said that he doesn't eat desserts. But President Jing remembered that Young Madam likes them and asked me to bring you desserts regularly."

"This is the gift I prepared for our wedding anniversary…" one of them.

No matter what, even if Xiao Li felt bad for her, he could not take the cake away.

Otherwise, he would be the one getting scolded.

Xiao Li shook his head resolutely and left without looking back.

Su Wan's face flushed red. She felt like a clown. Perhaps everyone around her knew that they were just a fake nominal couple, but she actually took the initiative without knowing what was good for her. What a joke.

However, the tears that fell without warning could not fool her.

She placed the cake that she had meticulously prepared on the coffee table. On one side was a video of them celebrating their two-year anniversary and their one-year anniversary. It was so detailed that some people even magnified their expressions and analyzed them one by one. In the end, their conclusion was that their relationship seemed to be at odds.

Indeed.

Most of the problems arose because of her, and the character that was analyzed the most was her too.

Jing Chen was right. The acting was not his fault.

What's wrong with not loving someone?

What harm is there in spending time together?

She wiped a piece of cream with her hand and stuffed it into her mouth.

Then another piece.

Her mouth was covered in cream stains.

Tears streamed down her face.

She couldn't hold it in anymore.

She was crying silently with a pained smile on her face. The look on her face could no longer be merely described as grief.

Pieces of cream were stuffed into her mouth, stopping her cries that were about to flow out.

She was allergic to cream.

She loved eating it because her mother wouldn't let her eat it when she was younger. She was an insensible child and thought that being able to eat something sweet was the greatest joy in life.

It was only when she grew up that she realized she was allergic to cream.

However, she could drink milk. Occasionally, she would be allergic to milk, but due to uncertain factors, her mother would let her drink milk when she was craving it.

She said that she liked eating it because she couldn't eat it.

A wave of nausea surged from the inside of her stomach!

She rushed to the washroom. The intense vomiting made her face pale and she collapsed to the ground.

Her phone suddenly rang.

It was Jing Chen.

Su Wan took a deep breath, turned on the tap, and splashed her face with cold water. She picked up the call with her wet hands. Hearing Jing Chen's voice, she gradually calmed down.

"Are you asleep?"

"Not yet."

"There's a wedding ring that I prepared for you on the bedside table. I promised to change it for you."

Su Wan smiled bitterly and said emotionlessly, "Okay, I understand."

"Yes, I have something on tonight. You can sleep first. You don't have to wait for me."

"Jing Chen, are you done with your call? The candle for the candlelight dinner has been lit. You're the only one who's missing…"

Jing Chen said hurriedly, "Alright, sleep early."

"Beep, beep, beep…"

Su Wan took a deep breath and forced herself to calm down. She was being extra.

The woman was none other than Bai Lian.

She had seen a video of this woman on Jing Chen's cell phone before. Jing Chen had kept it in an individual folder.

He was having a candlelit dinner with another woman on their second wedding anniversary.

The irony!

Ironic and helpless.

When she returned to the bedroom, there was indeed an exquisite white gift box on the bedside table. But Su Wan frowned. This was different from the gift box of her previous ring!

That wedding ring was given to her by Jing Chen's grandfather. She had been wearing it for the past two years and it had become deformed over time, so she gave it to Jing Chen to get it repaired.

She suppressed her emotions and picked up the brand new gift box.

She opened it.

An unfamiliar ring.

It was gorgeous and dazzling.
