Joy felt a surge of excitement as she watched Song Jie and Gu Huanhuan, both entering the center of the venue, where many couples were already dancing.
Song Jie wore a smile and, with an inviting tone, said, "Miss Gu Huanhuan, it's rare to have this chance, would you honor me with a dance?"
Gu Huanhuan paused, truthfully, she wasn't interested in dancing, especially with unfamiliar men.
But as Song Jie maintained his inviting posture, Gu Huanhuan felt overwhelmed and stuck in a difficult situation.
She steeled herself and then said somewhat embarrassedly to Song Jie, "Mr. Song, I'm sorry, but I'm really not very good at the waltz…"
Before Gu Huanhuan could finish, Song Jie interrupted, "No problem, I'll lead you. I am quite the expert, you know? Back in school, I was even part of the dance club."
Gu Huanhuan didn't want to dance, but considering the recent spokesperson contract she had secured, refusing to dance seemed inexcusable.
