Hazel gave one last glance to the shocked knight who was still glaring at her with the intent to kill and nodded her head. She did not want to start a scene, but the vampire was asking for it by opening his uncouth mouth again and again.

"Thank you!" she whispered as she nodded her head and left with a man who took a breath of relief.

Just as she walked out of the room, she heard the sound of shattering glasses and furniture falling on the floor.

How could these men call themselves a knight when they are this childish! She wondered as she shook her head.

She must have known that she had hurt the ego of the vampire but he was asking for it.
