Chris' POV

My pen is trapped against my lip as I stare down at the paper blankly in front of me. It's my lunch period, and while I should be eating, my stomach is still doing flips from this morning.

  Fuck, I can't get Chandler out of my head.

  Even now, when I should be going over the question sheet in front of me, my thoughts are only one the sassy, blunt man that could make you laugh until you couldn't breath and question your entire life with one sentence.

  I think he and Cassie would have got along great.

  I shake my head at the random thought, not even knowing where it came form and it makes me grit my teeth in annoyance, wishing I had some gloves and a bag in reach. I'm thinking about making my way from the room and down to the track to clear my mind when there's a knock on the door. I set my pen down, not that I was doing anything and let the person in.
