Eric instantly confirmed his identity and kicked back, knocking the giant Nick Fury, who was trying to get up, out with a single kick.
"What shall I call you? Nick Fury? Or The Man on the Wall?"
"Either way, the name is just a code name, I gave up my name when I took over this duty." The white man, Nick Fury, slowly walked over to the giant Nick Fury, kicked him lightly and asked, "You sure you're not going to kill him?"
Erik's eyes narrowed as he stared at him. The resemblance was aside, but there was a big difference between him and the Nick Fury of Earth, firstly he was white and secondly he had hair.
"Why should I kill him?"
"Because he tried to kill you."
"No, he didn't, he was under your control, you wanted to kill me!"
"So, you do want to kill me? Go ahead!" White Fury pulled out his pistol and threw it at Eric.
Erik reached out to catch it and pulled open the clip, which was filled with glowing blue bullets that emanated an extremely dangerous aura that made his sweat stand on end and his pupils shrink to the size of pinpoints.
"Gamma bullets?" Erik gently pushed the clip back into the gun and stared him.
"Yes, it can kill anyone, including me, go ahead, shoot!" The White Fury slowly closed his eyes and opened his arms, looking like he was waiting to die.
Eric was speechless, he had already guessed what he was up to and threw the gun back, "If you want to die, you can do it yourself, I'm a good guy!"
"A good man? There are no good guys in this world!" The White Fury took the gun and with a sneer, shot the fallen giant, Nick Fury, dead!
"Tsk Tsk, How cruel" Eric said sarcastically.
"His mission is over!" White Fury turned and prepared to leave, "Walk to the centre of the room and I'll send you back to Earth."
"That's it? Somehow lure me here, engage in an inexplicable battle, and then send me back?" Erik stepped forward and followed the White Fury
The White Fury paused in his steps and immediately returned to normal, "I wanted to choose you as my successor, but you failed the test, so you can go."
"You're just going to let me go? That won't do!" Eric took two quick steps to the front of him and blocked his path, "At least, I want to see Him!"
"Him? He's just an alien, what do you want with him!" The White Fury grunted, but instead of saying anything about letting Eric leave, he waved his hand and opened a hidden door in the wall, seemingly agreeing to Eric's terms.
As he passed through the door, Eric's body felt lighter and the familiar magnetic and gravitational fields were once again sensed.
His magnetic field sensing swept through the entire base in an instant, but unfortunately, all the places he could probe were useless, and the real secrets were hidden by the wall guards under the magnetic field shield.
"I don't quite understand why you'd choose me as your successor when you should know that I come from another universe?" Eric asked the question that was on his mind.
"I noticed you from the moment you came to this world, you were a worthy successor, cold-blooded, ruthless, patient, and a lone wolf."
The White Fury tapped his wrist as he walked, projecting in front of him the entire process of seizing the Super Soldier Serum after Erik's arrival in this world, making Erik's eyebrows rise.
It seemed that his secret wasn't really a secret in a way!.
"But, I don't know why, but after you were taken away by those wizards, you seemed to have changed" the White Fury was silent for a moment, a little helpless, "I strongly suspect that those wizards have brainwashed you!"
Eric rubbed his nose and didn't say anything, thinking about it, from a cold and incomparable villain, suddenly became a comical good guy, anyone would feel suspicious.
"I watched you for a long time, but it was hard to determine what was wrong with you, so I had to leave you off the list. Until today, when my system detected that you were searching for 'Man on the Wall' so I thought I'd give it another try and see if there was any hope of you being rescued."
