"Delaney, where are you?" After hanging up with Everest Zuck, Yusuf Zuck immediately called Anna Cooke. The Cooke Family is a military family; they probably live right inside that restricted area.

"I'm in the procession to pick up the bride, almost at my sister Snowy's place," Anna Cooke laughed. "I didn't see you this morning. Everyone else was there, where did you run off to?"

"There's something I want to ask you," Yusuf Zuck said with a smile. "You know Lian Meskill, one of the four prominent youngsters of the capital, right?"

"Uh... What do you want with him?" Anna Cooke was taken aback, her voice rising several notches.

"Why are you shouting, are you close with him?" Yusuf Zuck asked weirdly.

"Not close, not close, don't know him, don't know him!" Anna Cooke hurriedly explained, but her explanation seemed to be a cover-up, quite flustered.

Yusuf Zuck felt that something was off. Anna Cooke was always steady and mature; why was she suddenly flustered now?
