Capítulo 46: A question

Laxamus had made all the arrangements for Calliope to stay in Orin. She was currently staying in a room inside the castle turned office. She groaned at the thought of staying in Orin yet not letting her know that she was staying here. 

"You know I finally asked Rachel out for coffee," Romani said, feeling too proud of himself. He had been coming frequently to check up on Calliope much to someone else's dissatisfaction. 

Calliope had heard about Rachel from Matteo Romani many times before. She was his crush but since the girl was too out of his league, he never dared to ask her out. But now that he was a full-fledged doctor, he mustered up the courage to ask out the girl he liked a lot. 

"Ah?" Calliope reacted. "What's so special about asking her for a coffee?" 

Exactly!

Why was he feeling so smug for having coffee with Rachel? 

It wasn't a big feat in her opinion. It would have been better if he had asked her for a date.
