In the dark and narrow dead end, the gangsters approached with malevolent expressions while holding sticks. Their faces were full of lewd smiles.

Qu Xiao was so nervous that her face turned pale. Her legs were weak as she bent down to pick up the bricks on the ground. She stared at the gangsters who were trying to approach her with vigilance.

Her back was pressed against the ice-cold brick wall. Her heart was beating like a loud drum.

Qu Xiao mustered up her courage and growled, "As long as you let me go, I will give you money..."

"But if you dare to touch a single strand of hair on my head, I swear I'll get every single one of you arrested and put in jail for your entire lives!"

Qu Xiao's threatening words angered the gangsters. They shook their heads and arms and let out a few cold laughs.
