Capítulo 4: Izuku vs Eren: Fight
Our scene begins in Liberio, a once shining city of the Great Marley Empire now reduced to nothing more than an abandoned warzone. Scars remained eerily fresh as dead bodies, ruined buildings, and broken debris caked the city streets. The only sound left in this once shining metropolis is the sound of marching soldiers eager to fulfill their mission.
However, their morale is low with their pressing losses from the Eldians and ultimate warriors' defeat. This means for both them and the world, they needed something more that could lift all their spirits and save them in their darkest hours with a smile. A symbol that will not back down despite said destruction. Marley was calling out for a hero, and thankfully their call got answered.
A light green blur started to dance across Liberio's rooftops faster than anyone could follow. Said blur raced across half the city, darting through the narrow streets with clear purpose before perching itself on the rooftop nearest the statue of Helios. With the same speed as before, the figure scanned the surrounding area with emerald eyes, persisting in answering one question.
"Where are you, Eren Yeager?" Izuku Midoriya A.K.A. Deku said as his mind flashbacked to 2 days before the Raid on Liberio.
Before Willy Tybur made his shocking statement to the world's ambassadors, he had asked that the world's heroes be on massive alert. But all the warnings in the world wouldn't have prepared them for Eren's declaration of worldwide war with their survey corp. Even with the power of Marlyeans combined heroes, the Titans couldn't stop him as he waded through the entire city. It was only due to a lucky shot that Eren's escape blimp was damaged enough to force a retreat before extracting him.
Which means he was still in the city. Before he could escape and create the Rumbling, every hero, pro and student had gathered here to find him while rescuing civilians. However, the process was more complicated than it looked, as the young hero had been on the manhunt for 2 hours straight without any results until now.
Right out of earshot, a fired rifle got heard by the fledgling hero, which was all Deku needed to act. Instinctively his body rushed over to a nearby plaza into a distressing scene. An entire platoon of soldiers was barely conscious as they shivered in abject fear over one man. A man whose bloodlust was so impossibly strong that Izuku's body instantly registered this man as "the" Eren Yeager.
Without a moment's hesitation, the stockpiled power of One for All flared up within Izuku as, in a flash, he had Eren violently pinned to the ground with superhuman strength. Surprise and awe nearly broke the young Eldians' expert poker face for a few good milliseconds, but he quickly managed to regain control as he calmly assessed the situation. He tried trashing back, but Izuku's grip remained iron-tight.
"Please, get away from here, call for help," Izuku said as the soldiers started to depart.
However, Eren's resolve remained strong as his mind ran a hundred miles a minute.
"Interesting, in human form, I'm usually not one to be beaten in physical strength. He must have the power of the Titans running through his veins. Though this doesn't feel like the awakened power of the Ackermans, and he doesn't look Eldian either. Maybe it's a similar power to my Founder? It makes no difference though, I've already won," he said in clear-minded thought.
"It doesn't matter; they won't get far," he said menacingly.
"It's over, Eren; the fight stops here!" Izuku said as his grip grew even tighter.
At that point, though, Eren stopped struggling completely as a grave coldness filled the air.
"You're not the first person to say that, and you won't certainly be the last. Either way, though, I'll do what I've always done and keep moving forward," he said firmly.
Before Deku could react, Eren slammed his head so hard on the road so hard it cracked, forming a small pool of blood. Sheer shock froze up Deku for a few seconds, which is what Eren needed. In an instant, an explosion of orange lighting enveloped the entire street, launching Deku into a nearby building. By the time Deku's eyes refocused, he realized that he was mistaken. The fight was far from over.
Standing at a fearsome 15 meters, Eren's ferocious Titan form reappeared to Marley with a violent earthshaking roar! The sound alone was enough to send Deku's adrenal glands into overdrive, which probably saved his life as he narrowly avoided a punch that smashed the building to smithereens! As Deku landed on the ground, shattered concrete, wood, and glass tattered into the air.
He couldn't even get the chance to breathe through as he then barely avoided a titanic roundhouse kick that forced Deku into a backflip to a side of the building. It was now his turn to analyze his opponent from the said vantage point. He instantly formed a strategy by noticing Eren's steaming and regenerating right hand.
"He's strong, far stronger than 8% percent. And whatever his quirk is, it seems to give him regeneration, meaning that even if I use 100 percent, no guarantee will bring him down for long. Does he even have a weak spot? I'm faster and more maneuverable, so I guess right now, I'll have to keep upping the percentage in manageable ranges for quick bursts. And aim for the only vulnerable spot, his head!"
Without hesitation, Eren made his approach, this time crystallizing his now regenerated hand.
"His speed and maneuverability are almost at the ODM gear level. Which means I've got to start cornering him," he said as she started to drag his arm across the surrounding building!
Soon enough, a wave of broken concrete started to make its way towards Deku, but they had no chance of hitting him. Instead, a green flash of lighting replaced where he once was. When Eren's eyes refocused, he found the young hero right at his right ankle, already preparing a powerful kick.
"Let's try 20%!"
Veins of energy started to run through Izuku as his physical capabilities doubled. Before Eren could react, his left ankle got utterly broken. The sudden weight shift got him unbalanced enough for Deku to advance by hopping on his knees! Eren tried guarding his head, but Izuku was too fast, instantly redirecting himself to his blindspot and hitting him with a titantical sidekick to the head!
Large splashes of blood painted Libero's streets along with small pieces of his skull. Gravity took its toll, forcing the mighty Titan to its knees with a heated aura. Finally, One for All's painful backlash rears its ugly head, forcing Deku into a weary state.
"Guess this is all I can do for now. At least it was enough to"
"I'm not done yet," a familiar voice said in cold determination.
By the time Deku turned his head around, Eren had jumped out his exoskeleton's steamy and fleshy nape. Immediately after that, another humongous flash of orange lighting took place. Instinctively Deku activated his quirk again, which saved his life. Then, as monumental amounts of momentum struck him, he got sent flying!
Every bone in his body started to shake on impact before colliding straight through the statue of Helios so hard it shattered. Amid Eren's makeshift tomb, unconsciousness nearly claimed the boy's life. However, like how the former soldier must keep moving forward for the sake of his people, so must the boy. With that in mind, a supernatural will cast itself over Deku as he got back up, tattered costume while blood streamed down his face.
"No matter how badly I'm beaten, no matter my limitations, I will go beyond and save everyone!" he said as emerald thunder cracked the ground beneath him.
Rivers of endorphins fueled Deku forward as both Eren and him geared up for round 3! Eren immediately tried to enter a low sweep kick that destroyed some buildings, but Deku was fast, leaping over it to get right behind his nape. Once again, the godly power of One for All crackled as he let loose his famous-
"Delaware Smash!"
With the flick of a finger, a force rivaling an f5 hurricane ripped the air asunder! However, Eren expected this and busted out his secret weapon, his spoil of victory after the raid on Liberio. Using the same crystallization as before, Eren guarded his nape with his hands and a giant spiked wall. The two attacks broke every window for miles as Eren's crystal hands nearly shattered along with the wall.
However, Yeager only got buckled, not stunned, using what little power he had left to use an omnidirectional wave of constructed spikes! Said spikes scraped above, forcing Deku to sacrifice another finger for a Delaware smash that sends him sliding to the ground with some deep cuts. Izuku tried to look around before realizing that every building in the surrounding area had gotten destroyed. There was nowhere to go.
This is something the Attack Titan capitalized fully, coming out of the smoke, and readied a hand now clad in a hardened brass knuckle construct! Realizing that this was it, Izuku braced, steadied his legs, clenched his buttocks, and screamed from deep within his heart with all his might!
"DEEEEETTTTTRRROIIIIITTTTT SSSMMMASSSSHHHHH!!!!"
Centuries-old powers finally collided in the most titanical of clashes. Entire streets got leveled in its wake, leaving scars in the earth that may never heal properly. Indescribable pain was felt on both sides as blood flew and bones broke. However, despite all that, neither gave in instead, only pushing themselves past any limit they had before.
The combatant's signature lightning decorated the entire city growing so bright that both combatants got consumed by it. When their vision refocuses, we get introduced to a new location—a strange black world with no sky and barren land. The only signs of outside life are a mysterious tree crackling with orange electricity.
Without warning, both Eren and Midioryia started to materialize in this space. Utter confusion took place amongst the two, not knowing what was happening. However, before the two could adjust, figures started to appear on both sides. For Deku, it was a series of colorfully costumed comrades, the previous wielders of One for All. For Eren, it was a series of battle-worn individuals of different shapes and sizes, the previous holders of the Warhammer, Attack, and Founding Titan, respectively.
Behind the two, their powers soon started to solidify even further, summoning the two figures that started such long chains. A young white-haired man on Deku's side radiated a multicolored aura, and a young woman in white robes with light-colored hair, bathing in an orange thunder.
An intense stare got shared between the age-old figures before transforming into pure energy that washes over both Deku and Eren. In this storm of energy, the duo had their appearances change right before the other's eyes, from idealistic kids who tried to desperately fight the world order to teens who got tasked with being symbols of humanity. But, then, young men who have matured amongst scars and losses yet are still steadfast in the dream they've always had. Both are too determined ever to turn back. In awe of such a development, the men could only say.
"We are the same."
Then as quickly as this sacred space formed, the scene managed to flashback to reality, along with the victor of the clash. Because as hard as they both fought, Eren's arm was the one that got utterly destroyed, which allowed Deku to finish this fight. Hurricane-like winds started to gather across Deku's free hand, channeling the strength of One for all for one last strike. But, iron-like resolve again steeled against gruesome pain as Deku reached into his heart.
"One for All: 1,000,000% Delaware Detroit Smash!!!"
A fantastic amount of sheer Herculean strength ripped through Eren's entire exoskeleton, leaving the Eldian high in the air. Eren tried to recover again for one last transformation, refusing to give in to any power. But for once, Deku predicted him as he was already far above, with a massive kick already lined up.
"I told you before. This fight is over!"
With that, the hero managed to deliver a painful attack to Eren a second faster before he could transform. Meaning all he could do was plummet to earth like a stone, unconscious, which left only one to rest, finally basking in the peace in a warzone while the world kept turning.
