Samara's POV

It's been a week. No, let me rephrase that, I assume it's been a week. I haven't left the room in days, only going down for a glass of water for the first two days, but then I requested a jug should be placed on my side table and refilled regularly. My new phone has been lying beside the floor to ceiling windows for five days now. It kept ringing, so I asked Thea to switch it off and place it back there, at the same spot.

I'm sure I smelt like someone had mixed cow dung and shit together and dumped it on me. I had never gone this long without bathing, in fact I would be what you will consider a neat freak. When I was about fifteen years old, my father assumed I had OCD because of the way I always tried to organize everything.

We finally visited the doctor, who assured us that I didn't have OCD, but ongoing anxiety or stress could cause it to develop.
