Samara sat behind the huge mirror in her room in the hotel that the wedding was to take place and tried to calm her racing heart; she took deep breaths and held it in for a few seconds before slowly releasing it. Today was her big day and she would be lying if she said she wasn't nervous at all. Her fingers were turning blue from how hard she had been clenching them, and her hearr felt like it would collapse and stop pumping blood.
Charles had made sure her father was brought in from the hospital and present at the wedding. He wasn't going to be able to walk her down the aisle so Charles took up the role, but it still felt amazing that he would be watching her. She had visited him two days back and he immediately scolded her for not letting him know who her fiancee was. He questioned her about how they met each other and how he had asked for her hand and of course she had to lie about it. Her father would rather sell his internal organs than watch her marry for money.
