Capítulo 12: Other world, tempestuousness and the solemn promise
There is a world outside beyond human knowledge, that is a monster world. In that world exist many creatures such as werewolves, beast-men, and also a vampire. All creatures over there have abilities, like fire, water, mist, thunder, frost, and other abilities.
The rarest abilities are mist, frost, blaze, darkness, and also light. All these abilities often go to the royal family, including in the vampire clan as they were the king and queen who was quite strong to control the abilities.
The king of the vampire is Miyazaki Rihito. He was a wise ruler but not a wise father. He and his queen that is Miyazaki Maya were very handsome and beautiful. He has two sons that named Raito as the eldest while Suzaku the second child and one daughter named Ruri.
One day, at the imperial garden where the queen and her child having lunch, she heard an angry voice "It seems you so full of yourself, don't you. Who do you think you are. What right do you have huh, for you to torture my son?" King shout make all of them tremble fear, make them kneel to the floor. The Queen who got shouted got mad and stand up furiously fought back.
"Yes I am, so what. He is someone neither you nor I want to begin with, that is why I got rid of him. If you like him, why did you let me do whatever I want to him, this is also your fault." The Queen attack him using frost to make him unable to move yet the King only brushed it off like wiping the dust.
"From today onward don't you dare touch him even a single hair."
"Even you don't know if he still alive don't you."
Hearing that, Miyazaki Rihito attack her without restrain.
"You... I am your wife....!!" Maya reflects on all the attacks that come to her. Her clothes are all torn apart because of the clash of their abilities.
"He is my son... Our son... Even though I don't like him it's doesn't mean I will kill him. You as his mother are... so stupid." He kept attacking her, no matter where she dodge she still got hurt. Finally, when she can't withstand it, she crushes the pillar that supports the pavilion.
"Are you crazy!!" Maya stands up from the ruins. She was furious and ready to go all out.
Crash... the sound of breaking items make them all went quiet suddenly.
"He is my brother, why did you do that, then when I'm useless I will get killed by you, Queen mother? It seems that way to you, haha I'm so stupid. I will take rest for today, Queen mother have a nice day." Ruri bows a little and goes away from their sight.
From that moment Ruri work hard to become the most powerful person and she becomes a quiet person, her word can be counted as she rarely talks even to her Queen mother including her King father.
Ruri put all her time to train her power and her battle prowess. She also gathers her faction for the future. Time flies so fast, now Ruri is 14 years old. She is a very beautiful lady, not to mention her genes are vampires which adds to her beautiful physique. This makes her have a hate-love relationship with surrounding people.
At the dining table when all royal member gathers King ask about his daughter's condition but only got 'hmm' as an answer, which makes him very furious. "You have nothing to say at all, don't you, Ruri?"
"Aren't it all because you two, who make me like this. I am also curious what will happen to me later will I become like my big brother whom you guys throw out like ragged cloth." Ruri expectantly looked at them waiting for their answer. Then suddenly a flying glass hit her head, blood flowing down wetting her face. "See, this is what happened when I open my mouth, right Queen mother." Ruri smiles sweetly at them and excuses herself.
"Hey, Ruri. I'm your only brother. You don't have any other brother and why you never call me big brother." Suzaku ask Ruri as he saw she want to leave.
"Are you kidding me, se...cond... brother. You will be forever a second. My eldest brother will be always Raito."
Bam.
"You... He died a long time ago. Mother kills him and I am your only brother!!" He lost control over himself he got angry. "Raito this, Raito that, he already dead. No one wants him."
"I also don't need you." Ruri left after she said that. Suzaku is so mad that he starts to destroy the dining hall. All the servants tremble but they were afraid to move let alone about trying to calm him down. After that day their relationship started to crack bigger than before. Suzaku starts harassing her sister every time he gets a chance, he would suddenly out of nowhere ambush Ruri merely to hurt her.
Even so, Ruri will always strike back at him. At the same time, she tries to break his power and his support. This infuriated the queen so much that she called them both. The queen punish both of them to be grounded at their palace.
"Queen,"
"Mother,"
Both of them speak at the same time. They look at each other. in their hearts they plan to kill each other or torture with painful torture
"What foolish thing both of you trying to do. Kill each other, torture each other. Both of you are siblings, why must you guys hurt each other?" The queen angrily asks them.
"Hahaha, what a joke you said my queen, you started all this now you ask me why. You know the stupid thing I did is not comparable to you torturing your eldest son just because you didn't like him, your son... My queen and my brother are a mother and son, so why are you trying... oh no, you have already killed him. Will my queen tell us about that?" Ruri retorts against her mother. This silenced the queen in response to her daughter. Ruri left just like that without giving any respect to her.
At her place she solemnly promises to her brother. 'Brother, brother, I will get you back and return everything to you, you are mine before, now, or in the future. All you need is live well and return to me.'
