-Talion-
As I examine my body once more, I am surprised at the turn of events. I was sure I could defeat him, that was a certainty, but what I have gained from this fight is more than surprising.
While in this world, magic is innate to each individual and cannot change, I am able to absorb the souls of my opponents. And it is by examining my body, and more precisely my magical source that I realize after having absorbed part of the Balrog's soul, I have gained a new element.
Each individual with magic in this world has a magic source, this last one has different attributes and can depend on the spirit, even the soul of the individual. Magic is formidable, but it is innate and each individual cannot change it, they can of course progress and master it. Very few people are able to master it, or even have it, which makes it mysterious to many people. Magic can be used in many different ways, whether it is with command words that reinforce it, or by thought, indirectly imagination plays a big role in it. The mental strength required to manifest it remains important.
My element, due to my spectral characteristics is ice, but I now see two elements, not only ice, but also fire, a dark and powerful fire. The part of the Balrog's soul that I absorbed contained this element and it is now part of me.
Pushing magic out of my body, it is easier to manipulate than before and I can now materialize a dark fire in the palm of my hand. With this power, I am closer to my goal than ever before.

-Third POV-
After Talion observes the beneficial changes in his magic, he contacts Idril to begin the conquest of Nurn's fortress so that she can prepare the armies.
He then travels to Nurn himself to help with the preparations.
Once he arrived in the region, he went to a large camp indicated by Idril south of the fortress.
There he sees two very different armies, the first one made up of orcs, they are separated in several battalions, a battalion at a distance made up of archers, powerful troops such as the ologs-hai, savages, pikemen, warriors, horsemen. Each battalion is led by two complementary captains.
The second army is human, made up of brave men and women, previously slaves, they will fight in the last lines, not being warriors by profession. But valiant and eager for freedom, they will fight to free their families from the clutches of Sauron, at their head is the captain Baranor.
After arriving Talion meets Idril and together they form the general battle plan. Talion's and Idril's information complements each other, especially on the fortress' defenses, the number of enemies and the points that are important to take.
Then Talion heads to the top of a tower overlooking the army and gives an inspiring speech:
"Today, orcs and humans, we go together for the first time under the banner of the lord of light, my banner, for in my kingdom, all peoples are free and have the right to prosper. People of men, you were born and raised in slavery. Today freedom is in your hands, fight, fight against oppression and evil, fight for the lord of light" he finished, the orcs singing and the men cheering.
Then the army starts marching towards the fortress. On the way, troops of enemy orcs attack the army, but Talion disposes of them quickly.
Arriving at the fortress the army quickly takes place, the first line uses shields to avoid the rain of arrows, the troops at a distance start their harassment on the defenders. They shoot volleys of arrows, from time to time ignited, which destabilizes the opposing defenders, who must quickly take cover or be equipped with shields.
The support battalion bring the war ladders and push them against the walls, the advance is made progressively but the defenders make an exit in particular with caragors which quickly attack the support battalion in hope to put an end to their advances.
The latter were immediately flanked by the troops of the first line who, equipped with spears, were formidable against the mounted enemy. They manage to pierce the thick skin of the caragor relatively easily, then kill the orc riders while the fortress gate closes.
As for Talion, he summons several ice spears which he shoots at the war beasts, to prevent them from ravaging his army.
After killing them, he summons a pillar of ice which he uses to smash the door, summons his two spectres and rushes into the army at the entrance to break the lines facilitating the entry of his army into the walls.
Talion, like a god of war, smashes the enemy lines, each of his powerful blows makes the defenders fly away. He strikes in all directions, no enemy can resist his blows, the orcs try to defend themselves but Talion's power is too great, they can only watch their end.
As for the specters, they rush towards the captains and kill them, then head towards the olog-hai troops, ferocious and valorous troops that can do a lot of damage to Talion's troops.
Talion materializes his magic and uses a new variation of it, he creates curved and razor-sharp blades of ice that rush at the enemies and slaughter them without them realizing it.
Like a living bomb he leaps on his opponents and materializes ice spikes all around him that impale the most valorous enemy orcs.
Then his troops finally arrive, they flood the enemy like a tsunami, on the walls the enemy archers are quickly disposed by the savages, while the ologs-hai join the fray and accentuate even more the pressure undergone by the defenders who every second lose ground.
As Talion makes his way to the second defense group, he spots a drake in the sky approaching his army. This drake is a great threat to his troops, so Talion shoots two powerful arrows at it, weakening it, then teleports over the drake before dominating him, adding a major force to his army before continuing onto the second group of defenders.
As he reaches the second group of defenders, Idril informs him that the gate has been taken and the army has advanced.
Meanwhile the army of men led by Baranor heads to the slave camp, they eliminate the orcs and free the slaves before heading towards the main battle.
As he slaughters the second army, Talion is joined by Idril, who also wreaks havoc on the enemy's ranks.
It's been a month since she became Talion's general, and that month has transformed her. She is now much more powerful and has created her own fighting style based on explosiveness and optimization of each strike.
After some time, the army of Mordor is finally defeated, overwhelmed by the armies of Talion, who rushes to kill the general of this fortress.
Entering the tower, he rushes into the great hall. There, on a throne he sees an ologs more ferocious than his peers.
Not giving him time to speak, Talion rushes towards him and cuts off his head with a sharp blow without him being able to move.

After the victory and the conquest of this fortress, Talion frees all the slaves as agreed with Baranor, he organizes groups of orcs, who are tasked with eliminating the survivors. Then he builds shelters for the men so they can live on his land.
Once the assimilation of the region is complete, Talion turns to Seregost, the next region on his list.
