Capítulo 23: Ambush
Land of Grass.
2 days has passed; Obito and the rest of the crew has been trying to talk to Shun; but they couldn't get a word out of him.
This made them frustrated; Obito wants to see where Shun came from; since they never even seen Shun before.
Kakashi has a vague feeling of wanting to battle against Shun; and Rin is still day dreaming about how cool Shun's entrance was.
As they continued traveling; they have already passed by most towns; they are a few hours away from Kusagakure.
Minato has been leading the trail towards the Kusagakure.
Minato has abnormal perception and sensing range; he has been on edge since leaving Konoha.
This mission has been perfect; too perfect; their weren't any ambush the entire mission; Minato began to think; the enemy has set up some form of a trap.
"Minato-Sensei; now that we are almost at the Land of Grass; should we go looking for site seeing in Kusagakure."
"Obito; this is an important mission; it'll be very bad if we don't hurry and help our comrades on the front lines."
Mediated Minato; as he immediately rejects Obito's offer.
They continued traveling until evening time arrived; as they all took a break.
They have been traveling continuously for the last 2 days with barely any rest in between.
"We should rest over there; the shop keeper may take us in."
Listening to Minato's orders; the entire squad all went inside the hotel; as they were tired from so much running.

Next Day.
Land of Grass.
"Our spies has just send us some valuable information back; the Yellow Flash, and a group of Genin are heading towards the Land of Grass; their is also an unknown Shinobi."
They are 5 people wearing the standard Iwa outfit; consisting of brown flack jacket; a red sleeve underneath, they also have on the Iwa Village logo on their outfits.
"We should set up an ambush; when the enemy gets here; we have all did a good job; our Iwa has already taken Kusagakure."
Iwakagure has taken Land of Grass a few days ago; they have killed or executed anyone of has resisted Iwakagure's rules.
"Now that we have taken over this city; we need to set up a trap for when they get to the Land of Grass."
"Yes Katsuku-Sama; what is your plan?"
As they begin to formulate a plan; Minato and the rest of the squad are almost at the Land of Grass.
"When we get to the Land of Grass; we should always get an eye out for valuable information regarding all of the 5 Great Villages."
What they don't know is that; Shun has already sensed a couple of Chakra signatures a couple 100 feet ahead.
Shun won't tell them though; because he wants to see Minato's strength; watching him on Anime and watching him in real life are two completely different experiences.
"This mission is easier than we thought; it'll be a breeze to get there."
Meditated Rin and Obito; as they still continued to walk.
*Boom!!* *Boom!!* *Boom!!*
"Enemy Attack!!"~
Yelled Minato; as he and his team got into a battle-ready motion.
Explosive Tags from the ground imploded as soon as the group entered the Land of Grass; completely catching the group off guard.
"Haha; I bet we got those bastards."
Said; one of Iwa Shinobi; as he was confident that their plan has worked.
"Just to be sure…
"Earth Style: Mobile Core!!"~
*Boom*
2 huge; long spiky Earth spikes protruded from the ground; as they attacked where the Explosive Tags were detonated.
As they were sure of their victory; something unexpected happen; the scene was completely against their imagination.
They all imagined a scene where all 5; bloody corpses were crushed and dead on the ground.
What they got was nothing; it was like they knew the Explosive Tags were there.
"Where is he?"
Yelled 1 of the Iwa Shinobi in desperation; as they begin to look around anxiously.
*Swoosh*
*Kacha*
*Pfft*
A Yellow Flash appears out of nowhere; completely catching the Iwa Shinobi off guard; the 1 who did that last Jutsu was coughing out blood.
A red vertical line was on his neck; blood was oozing out of his neck; as his eyes lost it's luster; he slowly closes his eyes and fell to the ground with a thud.
*Thud*
"I'm here!!"
Said Minato in a cold; emotionless voice; as he looked at the other 4 with unending killing intent.
"This; he died!!"
Said one of the Iwa Shinobi; as he looked on in horror; as he watches his teammate die in front of him.
"Get back; return towards the base; inform Tsuchikage about has happened; tell him that the Yellow Flash has killed one of ours."
"Bu-"
"No but; now go!!"
"Yes!!"
*Phew*
He disappears with the Body Flickers Jutsu; as he went back towards base.
"Konoha Yellow Flash; you've been a thorn in Tsuchikage's ass for a long time; it is now time to finish you and your team of pathetic Genin."
As he was about to continue…
*Swish*
*Pfft*
*Thud*
"The nuisance is out of the way; it is time to take back control of the Land of Grass; first."
