Post Amethyst stealing my kill, I simply ate the chief’s body in sadness. My mood completely ruined the kill. Either that or because it had been dead for quite some time. Apparently, the chief was not so alive for quite a while.

I went back to the village and saw that the lizard man who led us to the village was laying dead in the water, his neck had been slit open and he had bled out. The other villagers were too terrified to move. I assumed the chief killed him before I came back.
