Empty. The pristine bedroom, with the neatly arranged bed which showed no signs of having been used, had been cleaned by the maid.

Lu Xing felt a strange sense of relief. She then went on to the adjacent gym, the storage room, and finally, she pushed open the study room, where she found Mu Chuci and Lin Man.

They were sitting face to face on the sofa in the study, seemingly engaged in some sort of conversation.

The sound of the door opening caused them both to look up.

Mu Chuci took a closer look at Lu Xing, briefly taken aback by her unusual home attire, before casually asking, "Are you going out?"
