After Lukas gave Erik the authorization, the head of the Von Neumann house immediately showed a smile.
"Thank you for your openness, Lukas," he said.
Lukas scoffed internally. 'Well, I came all the way here to talk to you. I practically had no other choice than listening to you,' he thought before nodding his head slightly. "Please, go ahead," the blonde boy said.
Erik nodded his head back at him. "Of course," he said. "Lukas, first, I would like to hear what your father told you about the war," the blonde man asked.
Lukas sighed. "Well, shortly, he told me that the Von Neumann house didn't like the way they had been increasing their power, so you pulled some strings to stop them from becoming nobles by asking the king to forcefully cancel the engagement between one of the members of the Hügel house, my father, and another woman with pure, noble blood," he said.
