Capítulo 84: Chapter 84

"Dear Abel, have you taken everything? Clothes, toiletries, and bank cards? What season is it in China? Remember to add clothes yourself."

After adjusting his salute, Abel looked at Treya and stepped forward to give his mother a hug. "Trea, don't worry. This time it's Stark's full scholarship. There is only one available at our school. Your son is so good that he was selected. He will be back after a year and a half."

Holding her son, who was already much taller than herself, Treya sighed and said, "The number of students studying abroad for this exchange program is really sudden. There was no news before, but now I suddenly hear you're going to Earth. I don't know what your school does. The decisions you make are just as questionable as those made with your rear end."

"That's the U.S. government for you—one of the greatest features of our great United States of America."

Gently patting Abel's back, Treya let go of him and said, "Okay, don't shame me when you're over there. Behave well and study hard. It just so happens that you like Huaxia cuisine, so go over there and enjoy it."

"Well, I see. I will often call you and message you. If you miss me, you can also give me a video call. Then I will go first."

"I understand. The car that will pick you up should have arrived. Go ahead."

Nodding, Abel left home with the silver suitcase, took the elevator downstairs, and immediately saw a black business car parked under the building.

At this time, a person emerged from the driver's seat. It wasn't Hapi who had come.

Abel nodded to him, pretending not to know him at all, and placed the suitcase in the trunk before opening the back door. He nodded to Treya, who was standing at the entrance of the building, waved goodbye, got into the car, and soon it started moving.

Sitting in the back seat and looking through the glass at Treya, who quickly disappeared behind the car, Abel turned his head to look at Tony and said, "Your car is a bit too advanced. If it weren't for Treya, who hasn't done much research on cars, she would probably question how a school vehicle could be so advanced."

Shrugging, Tony replied with an innocent look, "This is already my lowest-profile car."

"Well, let's not talk about this. You have completed the necessary procedures, right?"

"Yes, it's all done. Stark still has some connections in the education sector."

"That's good. Then I won't delay. I'll head to New Mexico as soon as I get out of the car."

"New Mexico? You haven't mentioned this before. The people from S.H.I.E.L.D. also went to New Mexico. So, is there the same reason you and S.H.I.E.L.D. are going there?"

Nodding, Abel replied, "Yes, it's for one reason. I told you before. I also know some people in the magical world on our planet. I got some news from them. Someone with a magical heritage has come to Earth from the extraterrestrial universe. Simply put, he is an alien with a lineage of magical civilization."

"Aliens? And alien magicians? They really exist?"

"Of course they exist, but this time it is not an alien magician who has come here. If you insist, you can understand that their development involves the coexistence of magic and technology."

"I see... If that's the case, when you come back, see if you can bring back some of their magical technology items. Maybe I can find a way to further improve the Mark Ω armor."

"Okay, when I come back, I'll bring you some souvenirs."

Speaking of which, the car had parked in the underground garage of the Stark Building.

At this time, there were no other people in the underground garage except Abel and Tony, and there were no cameras around, eliminating any possibility of being discovered by outsiders.

Taking out the suitcase from the trunk and placing it directly in his cloth bag, Tony's eyes lit up as he saw Abel for the first time.

"Abel, when you come back, you must prepare one for me so I can take those armors with me."

"Tony, you guys really want everything. Okay, I'll talk about everything when I come back. I'm leaving now!"

"Well, you go first. Maybe I'll find time to visit New Mexico for fun."

Hearing Tony's words, Abel nodded with a smile, then stopped talking, took the ring, opened a portal, and stepped directly into it, disappearing in front of Tony.

***

Andy Capuente, New Mexico, a small town in the middle of the wilderness.

As a slightly worn-out bus came to a halt, Abel, wearing a hoodie, stepped off the bus. Looking at the customs and sights of New York, Abel stretched slightly. Just as he was about to find a place to live, he suddenly heard a scream.

Turning his head, he immediately saw a jeep parked by the side of the road. At that moment, two women and a man jumped out of the jeep and rushed towards a sturdy blond man lying on the ground behind the car.

Seeing this scene, Abel raised his eyebrows slightly and couldn't help but mutter in admiration, "It's really surprising. I knew this town was small, but I didn't expect it to be this small."

Although he happened to encounter Thor, the God of Thunder, who had become mortal, Abel did not immediately approach him.

Currently, Thor is still a childish and arrogant figure. Thor, who has not experienced the trials of hardship, isn't someone Abel wants to engage with just yet. Moreover, initiating contact immediately upon his arrival would seem too conspicuous and urgent.

So, Abel simply noted the license plate number and marked the vehicle so he could find it later. He then turned around and left to find a place for himself to live first.

At night, Abel stepped out of the rented house. Since he didn't know how long Thor would be staying, Abel had rented a house for a month instead of choosing a motel or something similar.

Walking down the streets of the small town at night, Abel looked at the characteristic shops, searching for interesting restaurants.

But at that moment, Abel suddenly spotted a Gypsy fortune-telling shop. The shop was small and decorated in a Gypsy style. While it wasn't uncommon in New York—Abel had seen similar ones before—this one felt special because he sensed a certain call from the shop, drawing him in!
