Capítulo 42: Strength

I'm absolutely pouring sweat, despite the cold chill in the air. Maureen and I have been working out all day, and she just kept pushing harder and harder. When would the torture stop?

"Come on, get your ass moving!" Maureen was holding a large rock in her hands, running in circles around the house. She had me holding one as well, about the size of a basketball. The damn thing was heavy as hell. 

"Give me a break, you nazi! This is heavy!"

"Quit your bitching! A normal vamp can lift a boulder four times this size!" I could hear the taunts in her voice. By now I've figured out that she's doing it to try and get a rise out of me. 

As we've been going, I could feel more of my strength unlocking, but it was still taking a toll. To be fair though, even human me at peak condition couldn't lift a rock this dense.
