A few days later, Amelia Sanchez went to a Comic Convention.
As she got off the car, she was almost knocked down by two little girls running past her.
"Sister, I'm so sorry!" The little girls apologized, sticking out their tongues.
Amelia Sanchez chuckled before saying it was no big deal, at which the two girls who had run past her came tumbling back.
"Sister, you're so beautiful. Can I get your autograph?"
The little girl was shy, yet her eyes shone brightly as they fixed on Amelia Sanchez.
Amelia Sanchez found it funny, "You can have the autograph, but I'm not a star."
After the two little girls hopped into the Comic Convention, Amelia Sanchez put on a mask and leisurely walked towards the entrance.
"Angela, do you think that's Amelia Sanchez?"
"She also came to Comic Convention? She must be here just for fun!" The girl who was carrying Angela Brooks's skirt suddenly remarked.
They watched as Amelia Sanchez approached a staff member, said something to them, and was then led away from the scene.
"Maybe she's here to work part-time. I heard working part-time at Comic Convention pays two hundred a day, and meals are included."
Angela Brooks's tone was condescending.
"How many people in this world can be as beautiful and talented as our Angela!" The girl following Angela Brooks was buttering her up.
Angela Brooks was studying Original Drawing, and one of her works was chosen by a well-known game company as a backdrop.
Plus, she had money, and with some networking, everyone started to think that she was involved in the production design of the game.
With all the praises, even Angela Brooks herself started to believe that she was the Creator of Original Drawings for the game.
With a few followers singing her praises, she raised her chin and walked in, her chest held high, like a peacock.
"Angela Brooks! Angela Brooks!"
Roll call was happening. Ironically, Angela Brooks wasn't moving fast enough because of her long skirt. By the time she trotted over to the scene with the help of her followers, the staff was getting impatient.
"If you don't want to go on stage, let us know in advance!"
Angela Brooks wanted to flare up but held back, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"
If it wasn't for the chance of being on TV and getting seen by Albert Brown, she would've quit a long time ago!
The staffer pointed towards a corner, "You stand there, don't wander about. When the creators arrive, someone will call you."
Angela Brooks stood in the corner, frustrated. Once the staff walked away, one of her followers came over and cautiously asked, "Angela, would you like me to teach her a lesson?"
They often did things like this.
"Are you stupid? If you go ahead and teach her a lesson right now, will I be able to go on stage?"
She was aware that she was a minor character and probably only remembered by this staffer.
"Wait till the convention is over, then you can find someone!" Angela's face was gloomy. Those who crossed her never met a good end.
"Angela, you're so beautiful today and you even appeared on TV. Master Brown will definitely see you!" The follower hurriedly brought up Angela's favorite topic.
Angela Brooks flip her hair. Just for today's get-up, she spent almost four hours.
Her only wish is to leave a stunning impression on Albert Brown.
"Do you think Master Brown will like my get-up today?"
Angela Brooks was wearing a white knee-length evening dress with a long train, which looked quite similar to Amelia Sanchez's dress from that day.
Even her makeup was almost similar to Amelia Sanchez's from that day.
"He'll love it! Of course he'll love it! You are the most beautiful one here today!" The little follower nodded vigorously with a sour feeling inside her. The money Angela spent on today's makeover was more than her own allowance for half a year.
Angela Brooks looked at herself in the mirror, then thought of Amelia Sanchez in Albert Brown's embrace that day.
She also believed she looked better than Amelia Sanchez that day.
If she appeared on TV, she would certainly dazzle the audience, making others dull in comparison, and only she should stand out in her splendid attire.
While Angela Brooks was daydreaming in the corner, Amelia Sanchez was arguing with the organizer.
"Amelia, why did you come dressed like this?"
Amelia Sanchez looked herself up and down, she was in a white T-shirt and light blue jeans.
"Is there anything wrong?"
The manager gazed at Amelia Sanchez's long slender legs, somewhat envious but still worried, "Didn't the staff inform you to dress up a bit?"
Amelia Sanchez remembered a phone call informing her of the same, mentioning something about dressing up prettily.
"But I'm just an artist, not a game character, do I need to dress up?"
"Amelia! You are really—— too wasteful of your beauty!"
The manager was simply exhausted.
She stared at Amelia Sanchez's small face, as smooth as a palm, with no visible pores on her white skin, and those dreamy big dewy eyes.
"Do you know that the game character Carmen is designed after your appearance!"
"So?"
Amelia Sanchez blinked, instantly comprehending the manager's meaning, but still played dumb.
"You are Carmen! Amelia! Not only are you the creator of the original drawing for the game, you are also the spokesperson for the game's main character!"
"So, where's my Endorsement Fee?" Amelia Sanchez stretched out her hand.
The manager was taken aback, "Amelia, don't tell me you didn't dress up because we didn't give you an endorsement fee?"
Of course not, Amelia Sanchez was just lazy.
However, with the motivation of money, she was willing to put in a bit more effort.
The manager had some regret, "Had I known about this, I would have told you earlier. Your endorsement fee has been set aside. It's just that we planned to transfer it to you after the event."
If she had told Amelia Sanchez about this earlier, Amelia Sanchez would have no doubt dressed up splendidly for the occasion.
With Amelia Sanchez's presence, coupled with the excellent production quality of their game, it would definitely be a hit.
Amelia Sanchez was taken aback, spreading her hands, "What should we do now?"
Money she was just about to earn slipped away, which made her heartache.
The manager spun in a circle on the spot, "You wait here."
She remembered there was a spare red dress, and she took it for Amelia Sanchez to try on.
In any case, Amelia Sanchez had a great figure, and she could pull off any dress.
Amelia Sanchez tried on the red dress in front of the mirror and tried to pull up the neckline to reveal less of her chest, "I mean, is there only this one? It's too revealing!"
The manager was content, and after circling around Amelia Sanchez twice, she said, "What's so revealing! You're not lacking in that department, so what's the fear! Besides, you're showing a little cleavage, that can't be considered revealing!"
"But don't you think it looks too empty here?"
Amelia Sanchez's neck was long and slender, and the dress revealing some of her chest made her look a bit empty.
The manager stared at Amelia Sanchez's fair cleavage, had a thought while touching her jaw, and then snapped her fingers, "I got it!"
Amelia Sanchez looked at the manager's hurried retreating figure and thought about getting out of the dress.
"Amelia, you're so cunning! Are you trying to outshine Angela?"
Amelia Sanchez turned her head slowly and recognized the squealing girl as the follower from Angela Brooks's entourage.
She rolled her eyes, "Who are you?"
It suddenly occurred to her that Albert Brown had asked her the same question that day, which made her laugh.
The follower's face turned red from anger, "You clearly came here in a T-shirt, and now you've changed into a dress, isn't this to provoke Angela!"
