Capítulo 87: Chapter 5

"She's back," Master replied, as he looks at the bags that he packed.

"Who came back?" I ask again.

"Marvelous." He replied again while putting the bags out of his car. "My ex-girlfriend." He added. "Rackie, let us use that car of yours, please…" he pleaded.

"Sure, I 'll get the key," I said. Oh, so Marvelous Ran came back after leaving Master without a word. However, why did she come back?

"Rackie, can you please hurry?" he shouts.

When I found the key, I run out to give it to him, he put the twins inside the car and check the safety before he open the trunk to put the bags and other things they packed. He looks at me. "I will drive, you can't drive right now," he said then open the door on the passenger seat and wait for me to come in.

As he is driving, he kept on tapping the wheel, I knew he is tense. "Terric, I don't think we're going anywhere," I said.

He slows down and parks the car somewhere safe. "I'm sorry, to be honest… I don't know where to go."

"What were you thinking?"

"I just want to go out of the house because I knew that mom will go there and bring that trouble." He replied.

"Then, how about we go and stay with Wisdom?"

"I am grateful that they are always there whenever we are in need but I guess, those guys missed the twins the last time they came after asking for their help. Do you have your phone with you?"

I search for my back however when I look at the back I remember that he put my bag in the trunk. "No, my bag is in the trunk."

The moment he picks up his phone from his pocket, his phone rings. I saw the name, River Lily. "Master, I am sorry to bother you once again but Lily is sick again." I heard on the other line the moment Master answer the phone and put it on speaker mode. He looked at me and I signaled him to reply.

"Where are you right now?" he asks.

"We just came back to the house."

"Uhm… River, is it okay if I am not the only one who will be coming there?"

"It's okay, and also don't rush while driving. You have to get here safe because I don't want your future wife to have a tough life being a single mom."

Master chuckled and glanced at me. "We are on my way."

The moment he went out of the car, a woman-run toward him. "Master, we need to rush her again to the hospital." She said.

Master looked at me. "I don't think we need to, my fiancé is a doctor. Let her check Lily first." He said.

River looks at me with a surprised expression. "It's nice to finally meet you," she said.

"Let's save the introduction for later, let me see your daughter first," I said.

Lily is holding her tummy when I saw her, the moment I touched her, she was burning up, and I can feel that she was weak. I looked at River. "What are you worried about the most?"

"She's been throwing up and I kept on changing her diaper."

Oh, throwing up and diarrhea. "Master, can you call Red for me, tell him that I need an IV for someone who is showing dehydration, and make sure that the needle can fit on a small hand of a toddler," I said.

Everything went fine when Lily fell asleep without difficulties. Master was taking to Red while I am feeding the twins with River. "Thank you for the help." She said.

I smiled at her. "You are always welcome. Can I ask a favor?"

"Sure."

"Can we stay here for a while? I can't let drive Master while he's not in his usual self."

"You can stay here as long as you want. I've been bothering Master that I want to meet you but he always has excuses. I am happy to meet you. after he met you, his soul came back to his body again after his tragic breakup."

I smiled. "I know that. I witnessed how broken he was back then. And now, that girl is back, he's bothered."

"What makes him bothered if he has moved on already?" River looks annoyed.

"I think, he is bothered because Marvelous is a troublemaker. And when I say trouble that means, she is hard to handle."

"Oh, you met her?"

I smile again. "Yes, I met her when Master and I went to Singapore for my race tournament. She was there with some friends. Marvelous knew that Master and I are in a relationship since Master told her that moment just so he could avoid her but that girl is too much to handle."

"What do you mean?" she asks.

"After years of her leaving Master behind without a word, she has the guts to act as if nothing happened when we accidentally meet her. She kept on clinging to Master as if no years have gone by, she never apologizes nor explains why did she leave. All she did those moments is giving us a headache from all of her tantrums."

"Oh! I thought Master has very good taste with women before, it turns out to be a spoiled brat." She laughs. "Thankfully, he changed. Anyway, I knew Marvelous who is clingy and easy to gets jealous but it never cross my mind that she has a thick skin for doing those things."

"Well, now we are avoiding going home to any of our family houses because if we go to his family, surely it'll be a disaster while we can't stay in my family because his brother warned him already," I said. "Besides, I am also on the favored side of his mother because of the circumstances."

"I do understand. Auntie is close to Marvee and I don't know why."

I saw Master walking towards us. "Red is in a hurry so he didn't have the time to say his goodbye." He said. I can see he is lifeless.

"Hey, I heard that Marvee is back and I can see that it is true just by how you act right now." River said.

"Rive, please…"

"Why? You are acting so affected the moment you knew she was back."

"I am not affected by the moment I knew she was back, I am worried."

"Why would you worry?" River asks.

"I found out that she escapes from her husband who is living in Singapore and worst, I knew who her husband is." I crooked my forehead. "Rackie, before you think of something crazy again, let me explain first. You knew Charact Fuero, right?" I nod. "Well, that guy is the younger brother of Marvee's husband, Glyph."

"What? Glyph is Marvee's husband?" River asks with a surprised look.

"Wait, I can't catch up. What's wrong if this Glyph and Marvelous are married?"

"Glyph and Master, well… let's just say… don't like each other." River said.

"To be precise, Glyph is the reason why River is suffering right now, and what I meant is Glyph is the reason why River is alone right now."

"Master…" River is trying to stop him.

"River, I will never forget how he convinces Ikon to run after knowing that you are pregnant."

Oh, I see… I do get why he is mad. Still, commendable for staying friends with Charact. "Okay, so what's the problem if he is the husband?"

"Glyph knew that Marvelous is still in love with me an—"

"And still chasing you that is why, if Glyph saw you with Marvelous it'll be a disaster, right?" River interrupted.

"Yes, my brother told me earlier that Marvelous sent him a divorce paper that she signed and then left. Mom is accommodating her even though dad warned her. The house itself is a disaster already." Master said. "Also, I am trying to avoid Rackie from any stress that she might encounter in that house."

"Oh, so you are planning to stay over at your friend's house every time you have this kind of conflict?"

"Of course not!" Master glared at River. "Well, the house that I built for our family has finished the thing is we still don't have furniture inside, which leaves it empty. How about this, we will look after Lily while you buy the furniture for our future home. You don't have to worry, this is work so you'll be paid as our interior designer. The thing is, you need to call her now and then for the color and style that she likes. You know, she's the boss."

Everything that he just mentioned slowly processes in my mind until it sinks in. "When did you build a house for us?" I ask.

Master looks at me and then smiles. "Oh… Do you remember the house that I asked you about before, the dream house you want?" he asks.
