" He waits for the Militia to arrive at the base of the prime gate, seeing the complete front wall their resolution only increases.
The Dragon growls at them. Octavius looks them over. "WHAT BRING A 5 STAR AND six 3 STARS TO MY CAPITAL!" they kneel Octavius' eyes widen. "WE WISH TO SUBMIT" Octavius pats Leif Jumping down. He walks towards them.
"a 5 star and a five-star magician no less should be able to get work anywhere. Why explicitly pick a kingdom in the outer reaches of the Zenith Empire? " The Spec-Ops Appear all around wielding their threatening weapons on the terrain, some atop spires other on the ground some far back other on the gate.
"we heard this area was immune to the churches presents. " Octavius nods. "what of it? " The Magician uses his magic, the shadowy energy engulfing the surrounding of his hand. "a void Mage with a devolved Necromancy class interesting".
"I see the Church would hunt you down. What of you 3-star warriors?" they sigh "running" The Magician answers "they had to flee with their families from a kingdom under a tyrant." a chair appears as 2 spec-ops appear either side of it. Octavius sits down in it.
"oh so you heard of my Feats against the Church and came to me to seek refuge. well you are running away from the Kingdom of a Tyrant. " He nods, projecting his aura onto them. "but what made you think I was any better? ".
the Pressure on them strengthens their will "BECAUSE YOU BEAT A CORRUPT CHURCH SPREAD OUT ACROSS A CONTINENT!" Octavius smirks Snickering before bursting out into a maniacal Laugh to the men remaining kneeling.
"stand you will be put through the proper interrogation and others to break out the spies he calls Leif the True dragon landing on the ground jumping on his back Octavius Takes up flying back up to the Castle.
The Gate opens, the Guards coming out and restraining them, taking them to a prison built into the mountain across the Chasm flooded with rapid water. The Rope bridge fortified by high ropes The Guards slam their flat pommel on the ground.
The first layer of the portcullis Lifts into the Mountain the 2 gate a gate of reinforced wood opens outwards the guards holding it nodding the other guards take. the prisoner into the prison they feel their power as a Star warrior Drain away from them The Magician feeling a suppression.
(Portcullis is a heavy metal grate used in gates)
they wall through the Stone hallway the reinforced Heavy stone slab laid out amongst the floor for square metre the large complex of tunnels Un memorable a hand shots out of a Cell "feed me-" the man yells the guard slams his sword against the cell.
"did he not get his dinner" 1 of the guards on duty shakes his head "he was caught with Contraband, so he doesn't get dinner for a week". the guardsmen nods turning a corner they see a line of cells opening the cell 1 prison is tossed in the gate locking shortly after. Moving to the opposite side, another 1 is tossed in.
the process repeats the guardsmen talking to another 1 "feed them properly 3 meals a day their schedule for interrogation" the guardsmen nods those who took them in leave the gates shutting behind them".
Octavius returns looking around the area. He sees another quarter of the wall done "time to work on a new method to transport things up to the castle,". Glancing down at the chasm, he nods "the gate placed upfront, so a flotation bridge will work. "
He Begins works on floating platforms that can't be disabled unless the matrixes is turned off. Completing the segments, he picks them all up. Chucking them into the chasm, he activates the Sphere matrix in the gatehouse.
Another symbol lighting up at the base, a massive bridge of floating devices, appear before solidifying. Looking over the intricate pattern of stone on the floating draw bridge, he nods "that reaches the second level now onto the 3rd. Finishing it rather quickly, he lands down at the bottom, carving multiple symbols into the base.
Before chucking the segments, they automatically attach to each other, forming a bridge from the bottom to the top turning off the matrix. The segments split apart, floating in the air above the spherical device.
"alright now onto teleporters for quicker access to it for suppliers. ". He makes a teleport pad where the storehouse is before making 2 separate location within town that link to them as well as 1 outside hidden from the common only meant for Spec-ops supply transfers.
He Looks at the walls again, seeing around half of the left is done. Likewise, he nods in. satisfaction looking at the manor, he sees the walls taking form as the rooms are Split apart. "again they really don't stop working unless you tell them to".
Adriel walks out with Angela, sensing them. He looks back at them before looking towards Papyrus. "PAPYRUS!" the tall skeleton looks towards him from his task of assisting with construction approaching Octavius. He notices him talking with Angela and Adriel.
"So you basically made her, in your judgment, a bride. ", He sighs "Papyrus, I want to ask you to go on patrol and assist with the Town below. " he nods somewhat hesitantly before agreeing going out with a squad of Orcs from their large orc town. and a few Golems.
They head down the newly formed bridge papyrus, admiring the masterful design and engineering of Octavius for making this. Walking down the stone floating device, he hits the wall below. shifting down, he walks off the wall, noticing the area around being quite populated. Before moving down to the 3rd level, the agriculture slums and first line of defence hitting it he sees no damage to the wall.
"what am I supposed to do down here? " he walks through it with his patrol seeing the people enjoying them down here. 1 of the Children runs towards him. An image of a child with a knife running towards him pops into his head.
Projecting it onto the scene in front of it Mumbling "humans all the same" the child looks up at the skeleton pulling on 1 of his bones "MOM LOOK IT'S A SKELETON!" Papyrus looks down at the child the mother not even surprised.
"oh hello I've never seen you down here," The Child runs around in circles around him The Orcs smirk under their helmets "nobody here minds Monsters nor anybody else in this city we have 1 of the highest Concentrations of Elf aside from the t1 2 and 3 kingdoms for a reason. ,"children in the slums are particularly used to it. The golems have become something of a big toy for them. "
