Capítulo 159: Prodigal daughter

Giselle said hi to everyone as she walked by, but she was already getting exhausted. So many people walked up to her and just began to talk and she couldn't do anything but smile as they approached her. Her eyes scanned the room and when her gaze landed on Asher who was standing at the farther end of the room she felt a swell of pride in her chest when she saw him standing beside the president's son, of course, that Quing family is just powerful aren't they?

She said a brief goodbye to the man on her arm and began to make her way to the gentlemen at the end of the room when he grabbed her arm. "Where are you going?" 

Giselle smiled softly, "what do you mean?"

"You cannot just walk away, do you not know that?" The man said and she stopped walking and turned to face him, her sweet smile slowly turning bitter.

"And why not?"

"You took my hand. I basically own you the rest of the night" he said, tapping his forearm, "you are the perfect eye candy."
