Sabine was stupified, she felt weak all over and her heart? If you could even call it that throbbed painfully in her chest, "I don't believe you" she shook her head. "I don't believe you, he doesn't see me as anyone he should be bothered with but he wouldn't do that, he wouldn't do that."
Xavier motioned for the cop to be on his way, reaching for her he tried to explain things to her but she flinched away from him, fresh tears streaming down her face. "He wouldn't do that to me, he wouldn't" she insisted as chest burning sobs escaped her chest. Sabine wanted to scream, yell, and break something but she was unable to do even that. How was it that he could abandon everyone and everything because of one woman? She didn't mean anything to him, she was well aware but at the very least they had a past.
