The chest containing the gold coins was indeed the last thing King Geraint left for her, and she should use it for his wedding. Unfortunately, she had to use the coins to prove that she was indeed the princess of Shovalon.

'I'm sorry, Father. You must be disappointed in me because I couldn't make your wish come true,' the red-haired princess lamented inwardly as she recalled the conversation with her father many years ago.

["Why did you ask the servants to dig the ground, Father? Do you want to bury something in the ground? Is it a secret treasure?" The young princess of Shovalon excitedly questioned her father as her silver eyes continued to follow the movements of the servants digging the ground.
