After staying in Xanth's arms for so long that I am close to falling asleep, I pull myself free from his arms. "I should go back before someone notices me gone."

Redressing quickly, I look up to find Xanth watching me like I'm a juicy piece of chocolate with a yummy fruit-filled center. I shiver in pleasure despite the fact we just had sex. But I'm feeling a bit safer in his presence even though I shouldn't.
