Capítulo 8: Nightmare
Luke is back at Ahch-To using his X-wing. R2-D2 in the back, Luke asks him to park where he usually is. When he walks toward the temple many of his padawan and younglings greeted him. He looks from afar Rey stood behind looking at them then get into the temple. Luke looks worried about his oldest padawan.
After a few moments, Luke manages to after her. "Rey a moment please…" he pulls her shoulder before Rey turns toward him and slap his hand before he could touch her.
Rey looks down and didn't turn toward him as she asks, "do you know who is my parents are?"
Luke looks at his Padawan with no answer. She continues," did my parents still alive"
Luke exhale before telling yes to her. She only looks at Luke with disappointment. "Should have known, you say that you found me in front of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant?" She asks him.
Jap'Firi gets in the room with Ben they ask the other who is younger to wait outside and giving them some room.
After Ben leaves the room, she asks again with a high tone, "Is that a lie as well? Answer me, master?!"
He looks down and says yes. Her eyes open wide, she moves a step back. "Your father brings you to me when you are a little, and you are so little," Luke says to her
"Is he.. alive.. right now?" She asks him
"I'm sorry…he dies.." he looks down can't bear to look her in the eyes
"And my mom?" She asks him
"I couldn't say" Luke looked at her.
She shakes her head,"lie.. so all of what you say.. to me is a lie.." she drops herself to the ground. Sitting on the floor leaning to the wall.
Luke walks and sits next to her while he looks at her and soon as he tries to tap her shoulder she says,"don't touch me..". As she starts to cry.
Luke sits there looking at her and looks at Jap'Firi asking her to leave them both alone. Jap'firi nod but look back and then go.
After they get to be alone just the two of them Luke says,"to be honest my Padawan, I'm scared. Since your first got your lightsaber and now… even more scared"
"You scared? The great Skywalker is getting scared?" She smirks with eyes full of tears trying to erase them.
"There was once a Padawan like you, strong mind and yet full of emotion. He is none other than the grandson of the emperor him self. His name is Mheirn Palpatine." Luke says to her.
"What happens?" She asks
"The dark side is what happens. His grandfather actually still alive. Using clone technology he manages to make himself alive. So we went to finish what I have started. The cost is the death of Ben Brother and Mheirn best friend, Khent Organa." Luke says to her
"That's why Ben never uses his father's name," Rey said to him
"Yes, and to remember his brother" he looks out and true the windows sees Ben. "Afterward Mheirn never been the same and Im afraid that you will follow the same path"
Rey stands up and look down upon her master,"doesn't mean you could lie to me. About my parent, my legacy and my life" she storms out toward her room.
The night comes to Ahch-to. While Master Luke is meditating and his students are sleeping. The ground suddenly shook a bit. Luke feels who just arrived. He walks out of the temple and a Tie fighter is landing down with Kylo Ren on top of it.
"You're not welcome here!!" Says Luke getting ready with his lightsaber.
"I am not here because of you master," Kylo says to ensure him.
"IF NOT ME THEN WHO?!" Luke asks even though he knew who he is here for
"I am," Rey said standing behind Luke wearing her hoodie and ready to go with Kylo brings only her lightsaber.
"I am not letting you go, not now and certainly not any time" he looks at Rey and gets ready for a fight.
"I'm sorry master but if you're not gonna give me the truth then I'll have to find it myself," she said, pulling her saber and aiming for her master. Luke manages to counter his Padawan, then Kylo tries to strike him from the back. Luke then turns to counter Kylo's attack. Rey is not gonna lose this chance taking a step and advancing toward Luke. Yet Luke uses his other hand to push Rey back with the force. Rey landed on her back to the ground.
Luke turns toward Kylo he looks at his former Padawan. "Why?! Why are you doing this, Mheirn!!" They both get close as their lightsaber keeps on touching each other as none ready to pull back.
"You should never put your hope in me, because of you.. because of you.. you.. took everything from me!!!" Kylo screams as he pulls his lightsaber and starts hitting and striking Luke faster and with his feeling of frustration. Luke only could defense and takes the blow with his lightsaber again and again.
"You.. never will defeat me" Luke than with one move unhandled Kylo and throw his lightsaber away at the same time cutting it in half.
"I'm not but she is" nodding to Rey who put her lightsaber next to Luke's neck. "Let me go, Master". Luke pushes Kylo away with the force while a move back tries to shield himself from Rey's attack.
Rey not just attack him but jump and then after she lands attacks him from his under and turns to attack his back. Even though Luke manages to counter all of it. Now Rey is on the other side with Kylo on her back. "Rey please don't go with him" Luke Begging at her.
"Who am I?" She asks
"your my student, my Padawan" he looks at her, she then jumps with Kylo into his Tie Fighter. "I'm sorry Master, I'm really am, but I am not your padawan anymore." they then fly out of the planet. Leaving Luke to kneel down to the ground as he lost another Padawan to the dark side.
The next morning Luke sat on the same spot looking into Kylo's lightsaber that split in half. Jap'Firi walks toward her master as she stands behind him," she gone is she?" She asks while looking down she continue as her face shows regret. "I'm sorry master, I actually have a vision of this.. but I'm just following what you said… a vision can not be trusted fully… I could stop her I.. I.. know that but.."
Luke turns to her "no it isn't your fault, doubting your vision isn't because you don't trust your vision. It is because you trust she wouldn't do it right?"
She nods she looks at him and says,"let's get her back then!!"
"I can't," Luke says looking at the lightsaber
"You can't or you won't!!" Ben speaking out loud while walking toward Luke. Jap'firi surprised and looks toward Ben as he stands in front of Luke.
"I will never forgive my father but I am always look up to you, as teacher and Jedi. But if you leave her like what you did to my brother, your not just gonna lose my Respect but all the trust of your Padawan and student." He said to him
"Sorry I.. I can't.. Ben.." Luke says to him
Ben punch Look in the face and then again and again. Luke just accepts it as it is.
"Ben stop, control your emotion" Jap'firi holds Ben's arm. Ben then punches the ground.
"You better do something about it or I will," Ben says to him and walks off toward the temple.
"Look at you, fill with emotion. Another of mine is fall to the Darkside again sooner or later. What the use of it, I'm no master. this is a living nightmare" Luke says making Ben stop and continue walking without looking back.
Jap'firi look at her master" is it not that your bad master that we lose hope in you. Is because you lose hope in one of us that we lose hope in you."
"Leave me alone.." Luke looks down
"Master.." Jap'firi approach him
"Leave me alone, Lawquane.. please.." Luke look at Japfiri
"Alright.." she goes straight into the temple.
Luke turns around sitting looking at the horizon. "Lawquane, I thought I tell you to leave me alone."
"I'm not Lawquane thou," Obi-wan ghost said to Luke. Luke turns around in surprise. "Master?!"
