Capítulo 58: The Kiss

Angelica and Sarafina turned down her offer. Apparently, Serafina had an aunt in the neighboring village and they would go there together and stay there till they felt safe enough. 

In one word, Dahlia rode home with Desmond - she had planned to reduce the proximity between the both of them with the presence of her two new friends. But then, aside from the promise that they would visit later, Dahlia found herself riding with her bestie again.

Heck, were they still friends after what happened between the both of them last night? Damn it, she knew it was a mistake kissing him last night. So while Desmond was grinning from ear to ear, she was mortified. 

To make things worse, Lily and her brother decided not to bother her, and that made Dahlia groan inwardly. Just when she decides she needs a distraction from Desmond, they remain quiet. Was this some kind of joke?
