Really great story but the ending was rather abrupt. I felt cheated a little bit at the end and wanted some closure on some of the storylines. Maybe an epilogue or some side chapters would suffice for some closure. Just a thought 🤓
Love it. Character development was good, but could have used a bit more time on the romance or build up to her telling him about the parallel world.

Highly entertaining read. It’s a great book with a good plot. Just how a book ought to be, entertaining and not too draggy.
If you’re looking for a simple, quick read then this is definitely a choice for you. There’s not alot of drama or scheming involved but quite a lot of sweet love overload. The grammar is good, and names and pronouns are consistent. There are some frustrating things - I can’t understand why she doesn’t continue to study medicine in the book world, it would make things alot easier - especially as she loves it so much and has never voiced a want for the easy life of a rich madam’s life. That and her strength which crossed over with her? I’m not a fan of that. If someone crosses over then the physical attributes of the host shouldn’t change.

Overall I loved the story , it was romantic humourous and sweet and story developed very well but I think the ending 3 chapters were quite rushed it would be very good if those ending chapters would have been more precise and more chapters would have been added but overall I liked this novel[img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update]
It was incredibly cute and I loved the premise! However the ending does not suffice well for the plot or pacing. If you want something cute, go for it. But if you want something good, pass.
The story and characters are okay. If you enjoy this type of novel then it's good. Nothing too noteworthy but not bad as far as I read.
This is one of the feel good stories. I love the characters of Gu Shen and Yan Xi. I‘m sucker for stories that the male lead and the female lead are strong together to fight against those that hurt them. I like how they protect each other. Although the ending was kind of abrupt the author did a fine job in keeping the storyline alive. Bravo to the author, editors and translators. You all did a very fine job.

There were some of the usual translation and story consistency issues throughout but that was okay. But the last 6 chapters were really moronic. So if you hate that, don’t read.

The progress of the story was fine in the beginning, but somehow the ending felt rushed and unfinished😐. It’s still a happy ending though. 😅

So the story was interesting UNTIL the abrupt ending. Why are some stories finishing with such incomplete ending?? The MC and ML are overall likeable. The writing quality isn't bad. But I really find the ending much to be desired and feels like there was developments that was never progressed? Here's the issue: Certain characters were just "forgotten" or there was no wrap up on them? Examples are the so called world's original FL & ML. No quick overview on what happened to them? Or what about the doctor's mom? She got sort of introduced in a way that made it seem she may play a bigger picture in the future but nothing?? There was no clarification on what was done to the "villain" who wanted to interfere with the surgery as well on HOW did this villain KNOW about who was involved in the procedure since there was supposed to be just TWO people who knew?? Not even the husband knew (suspected something but didn't know?) of the surgeon involved! The heck? And what of the grandfather? He just disappeared and never appeared after the attack? There was also no writing on what the husband's reaction after the surgery with the surgeon and such?? It was just this time skip! And lastly, what is up with the alternate dimension thing? It was like it was just thrown in but nothing detailed out? What happened to her so called master? Was he or wasn't he a good person since he was involved in the project? There are more questions on this but I won't bother asking. Things that would be nice to have been clarified completely flopped the ending for me 🤷♀️

Very intriguing story plot, keeps you wanting more. I enjoy the interactions between the FL and ML. Also like that the FL is very cunning and won’t let others walk all over her. Easily has become one of my favorites.

The MC is quite different from most other MC’s. she isnt so independent its detremental. She is more focused on living her life the way she wants than to try to recreate her old life. Despite being a genius doctor in her original world, she isnt going to medical school or making a name for herself as the next medical god. She uses her talents to help herhusband, but other than that, she seems to be happy mostly just relaxing and occassionally doing something to make money. its refreshing seeing someone enjoying their second life with millions of dollars and a gorgeous husband. She also isnt really interested in face slapping or getting revenge for the original host. They aren’t worth her time and she just moved on. It really feels like she was so focused on medicine in her first life that now she just wants to be free and do what makes her happy. The MC is a bit of a vinegar jar and is jealous, but not to a creepy level. You also had her have a real reaction to the first time she has a bad experience due to her new life and see her decide to accept that it is something that will happen and become more accepting of her slightly darker nature when she wants to defend herself or those she cares about. So she isnt the pure MC or the fierce defender type that is usually in books. There interactions between the main couple is great and you really see how their relationship develops. Am really enjoying this so far. (Am at ch 159 at the time of this review)

If it weren't for the ending it would be a good read but unfortunately the ending was rushed, a lot was left open so the novel as a whole was horrible, the description of its original world was also changed to fit with the bad and rushed ending. Read it knowing that you will be disappointed in the end and the only good thing is that it only has 216 chapters so it won't waste much of your time.
