Capítulo 40: Forty

Rose and Snow were helping escort party guests further into the castle while those who were able fought off the ghost children.

“This doesn’t make any sense.” Snow said.

“How do you mean?”

“It’s no secret that Alonia is haunted, and now that the truth about Serena and her rituals is out that must mean she’s responsible for the influx of restless spirits. But they’re supposed to be spirits, intangible. Only a Gray could do this.”

“I get you. All the fighters are dealing with ghosts, and while preoccupied the Black Witch’s Cult could infiltrate the castle.”

“And get to the Dark Dreamer.” Snow hissed.

“Do we know where she is?”

Snow shook her head. “Chances are she’ll want to put herself in harm’s way. I think her dad has her. He’s going to want a weapon.”

“Can you manage this on your own?” Rose asked.

“I’ve got this General.” Snow said with a wink.

“Alright Lieutenant, I’ll leave it to you.” Rose said running towards the training room.
