Capítulo 19: Don’t get caught.

"Where the hell have you been? You said you'd be waiting for us at the pool. We've been looking all over for you." Erin can sense the worry in Lizzy's voice when he was on the phone with her.

They had already taken a taxi home.

"Are you alright?"

He gently smiled at his friend's thoughtfulness.

"I'm fine. There's just been a little accident. Sorry for making you and Reese worried about me."

"What kind of accident?" it's now Reese's voice that was on the line.

"I slipped on the pool." he lied. And both his and Marc's eyes locked in an instant. "Luckily, someone was there to save me," he said turning his head back to the window.

"Was it Marc?" luckily, Reese was kind enough to lower its voice. When it mentioned the name.

"Mm," he mumbled.

He can hear Reese's sigh of relief.

"I'm almost home. I'll see you both tomorrow. "Bye."

"Do they know?" Marc asked later on.

"Huh?"

"About us, do they know?"

He was confused for a bit. And what does "Us" mean by it?
