Capítulo 63: Vision seized still & Legs frozen chill

Leandre entered a momentary daze as a sweet little girl walked into the hospital room, gently closing the door behind her. Her vibrant red jumpsuit, stopping just short of her knees, was paired with a crisp, snowy-white shirt that accentuated her rosy cheeks. Her jet-black hair flowed down her back, framing her adorable face. 

With her blue backpack held tightly in her little hands, she waved at Leandre with a gleeful smile. "Hey, Leelee! Kalhys is back!" She chimed in a melodious voice, filling the room with infectious joy.

"How did you find me here, Kalhys?" Leandre whispered in a daze. He wondered how she always seemed to find him, no matter where he went. Memories of the time she had ditched him at the museum flooded back. 

"I saw you in the hospital garden," Kalhys said with a mischievous grin. "Let me explain the story." She raised her palm in a gesture of 'wait' before nimbly jumping onto a nearby chair and settling into it with casual ease.
