Leandre's gaze fixed on her arm, that matched the other half wing he had been searching for. His heart raced with a wild mix of emotions - excitement, disbelief, and a sense of surreal wonder. For what felt like an eternity, he had been on a hunt for the other missing half. With the number of times missing the opportunity to find her, Leandre felt as though he would never be reunited with the missing piece in this life, and yet, here she was, tantalizingly close, within his arm's reach.

He met her at the plant nursery and coffee house though he missed meeting her there, and now the museum and his birthmark flickered each time. What more reason did he need to believe she was the missing puzzle?
