Capítulo 14: Dark Phoenix
It has been a week since I went on that mission with Fury and today was like any normal night and it didn't feel like the normal get a mission within two days of last mission completion, but I guess it must be a good thing that some crazy stuff weren't happening that needed SHIELD agents, so I guess it was that time of day?, month?, year?, oh well.
As I felt bored browsing through my phone, I made my way to my underground training room, well not before taking my black jacket off, leaving me with a black top and short.
I started experimenting with my reflexes, well at my normal human Level without having to use my Superhuman senses, it wouldn't be a good idea to do that since those cameras over there are quite suspicious.
After a quick session of reflex training and hand to hand combat training, which was done through advanced VR.
I quickly washed my sweaty body off and got back into my normal casual black jacket with dark blue jeans and ofcourse. My shades.
After admiring my swag, I walked out of my office and out of the building, I didn't have any missions today and if I did, Fury would call me up.
As I made my way through the sidewalk and towards the store that was a little ways away from the Headquarters, I felt something.
"What the hell" I said with a surprised tone as my senses which were now able to sense atleast an entire city, were now flaring with danger, which pointed to a specific place.
I Loiked at the direction which was emitting such fateful power?, I had no idea, but with a little bit of difficulty and my senses, I spotted something falling down, quite literally far away, it was small and... terrifying!.
'Hey system... what the hell is that?' I asked as I made my way back to the Headquarters, stuff were about to really heat up and I don't think I was ready
[From what the system has gathered from the host memories and identification of the entity that was falling a moment ago, the system has concluded that, that was the host of the Phoenix force. Jean Grey]
'That... isn't good news' I thought as I entered my office and loaded up my gun, if I remembered right, Jean would eventually 'sacrifice' herself and die with the Phoenix force, but I know that is just bullshit, the Phoenix force was a cosmic being and Jean was definitely not dead, well she died but... fuck it.
I was not about to just sit my ass down as that girl was a ticking time bomb on this planet, I know my mere existence already changed stuff so I wasn't going to take chances, and the fact that me just handing that flame boy that would probably have been taken my SHIELD/Hydra and... you know the rest.
My point was that I already changed this timeline and who knows, maybe me handing that boy might have affected Jeans mind since I know for certain, he definitely got mindraped by Xavier and maybe Jean.
While thinking this, I was in the car that Fury used to drive us to our previous mission location, and for a 1990s car, It was quite the speedster.
As I drove, I felt that power again, it was near and there were quite the audience there too.
After a few minutes of driving, I was now surrounded by apartment buildings and a little away was a bridge, but that wasn't what I was focused on. No, I was more focused on the red head that was standing on top of an apartment building, and a bunch of people that I instantly realized were the X-Men.
"You..." Jean muttered as she looked at my direction with haste, the cold air around me quickly turning hot.
"You... you are that guy!" Ororo gasped in surprise as the whole X-Men turned my way.
"It seems like I am intruding in you guys business so..." before I could continue, Jean or should I say Dark Phoenix, yelled in agony as she lifted me with her telepathy.
"Why can't I read you!" She roared in confusion as my body continued to rise higher.
"I don't know?, maybe I am better?" I half heartedly joked as I took out my blue D-Eagle and shot at her, but as I expected... the bullet didn't even reach her before it got evaporated.
"That was worth a try" I said as police cars began to surround the area "Damn it!" I yelled as the red head held her head in pain.
And so before anyone could react, a loud scream was heard from Jean as an invincible force pushed everyone back, sending me flying into a house.
[Mission triggered]
[Mission objective: Survive or stop the host of the cosmic being, that is the Phoenix before you and the entire earth is destroyed]
[Reward: 10% BM]
[I suggest the host goes all out or else...] The system paused as if telling me I knew the rest.
"The earth is going to say bye bye" I finished as I slowly stood up from the destroyed building I was currently in.
But as I stood up and shaked the dirt off my body, the flying body of a blue skinned entity could be seen as whatever it was flew towards me like a rag doll.
"What in the actual fuck" I cursed, I debated if I should dodge or use my body to soften the bodys fall, but something clicked on my head but before I could react, the blue skinned entity crashed into me... Damn.

arekuruutento I have already said this in the review section but I decided to say this here, I won't be able to do daily updates as I want to take my time to write and actually have the story go the way I envisioned it, as I have been planning this story for 3 months before I was confident enough to release it, so there will be a chapter every two days, so basically 3 chps a week, I know in the review section, I promised atleast 5 but hey... quality over quantity...
