11.9% Tale of The Sad Ghost (English Version) / Chapter 20: Jealousy

Capítulo 20: Jealousy

In the morning, Denok told Tama about Prince Lingga. She said that Prince Lingga was the Crown Prince of the kingdom that was adjacent to the territory of Prabu Sanjaya. They were matched to strengthen diplomatic relations between the two kingdoms. But unfortunately, Princess Kirana got her curse first before she could meet Prince Lingga. So that all the residents of the Villa never saw the face of Prince Lingga.

"Oh, so that's the story. But is Princess interested in Prince Lingga?", asked Tama.

"No, it's also called a political marriage. Of course, there is no love between them," Denok answered.

"I'm grateful"

"Eh, what do you mean? why you were grateful for?"

"Oh, that's what I mean, if the Princess didn't like the man, the Princess must be very sad".

"Oh I see"

Denok said in his heart: "Just say you're jealous, why it's really hard"

After she putted Tama's breakfast on the table, Denok came out of Tama's room.

Denok walked towards the kitchen, when she arrived in the kitchen, Kirana came to the kitchen to put her cutlery because she had finished her breakfast in that morning.

"Princess, why did you bring the plate. Just let Denok take it"

"It's okay, I'm no problem anyways"

Suddenly, Denok remembered Tama's question about Prince Lingga. She also told Kirana.

"Prince Lingga?"

"Yes Princess, earlier Mas Tama asked about Prince Lingga"

"Why can Tama have a dream about my past huh. Annoyed, I never even dreamed of it".

Kirana returned to her room. She opened several drawers and seemed to be looking for something. And finally, she found it. It turned out that she kept a letter from Prince Lingga that had been thrown into the lake where the Villa was located.

"Prince Lingga. I don't understand the meaning of this letter, but he can't possibly fall in love with me, because we've never met."

After that, Kirana opened another drawer. There was a letter from General John Willem. When she opened the letter, she unconsciously shed tears. She quickly put the letter back in the drawer and closed it. Kirana wiped her tears.

"My mood is suddenly broken".

Suddenly, her cell phone rang, the first time there was an incoming chat on Kirana's cellphone. Kirana does have a personal cell phone that has magic power in it so it is water-resistant.

It turns out that Devan sent a chat to invite Kirana to have lunch together. Devan said that he wanted to interview Kirana about the mysterious life of the snake demon for him to be used as material for his TV program.

Because Kirana also needs an entertainment, she immediately accepts Devan's invitation. She started to get ready, then went out of her room.

Tama who was sweeping the yard was surprised to see Kirana who was already dressed up. He wondered in his heart, where is Kirana going this time. Tama ran after Kirana to the edge of the lake there was already Devan waiting for her. Devan comes in his car.

Tama sees Kirana entering Devan's car, but he doesn't call Kirana and Devan, he hides behind a tree.

"Kirana, your servant is hiding behind a tree" said Devan.

"Ah, let it go. At least later in the afternoon, he will run away to Jakarta."

Devan started his car and left Tama. Tama was so annoyed that he beat the tree with his fist until it was bruised.

"Shit, Devan's insolent! Playboy, Playboy, but you are not allow to disturb my princess! This can't be allowed, I have to follow him".

Devan and Kirana have arrived at a restaurant. They both ordered food. Kirana asks what Devan wants to ask her, then Devan asks Kirana to finish the food first, He will invite Kirana to the meeting room in his office.

"Why don't you all just stay here, does a new kid like you have a lot of free time?", asked Kirana

"Oh, take it easy. Besides, it's lazy if we stay here for a long time", whispered Devan.

"Huh, why?"

"Look, behind the window, there's a curious ghost that's stalking us" said Devan, glancing at Tama who was hiding behind the window.

"Aishh,, this kid again. My mood is so ruined like this, let's finish quickly, we go to your office now!"

Kirana and Devan ate their food quickly, while Tama could only peek at them from the window. "Duh, so hungry," he said, looking at the bruises on his hands. It turns out that even spirits can be injured even though they are not visible to humans.

After finishing their meal, Devan went to the cashier to pay for the food they ate. Meanwhile, Kirana meets Tama and scolds him. Kirana asks Tama to stop following him because Kirana has a project with Devan. But Tama strictly forbids Kirana and says that Devan is the most playboy man on campus.

"I don't care, after all, what do you care about me? Even though I'm with Devan, there's no gain or loss for you!", said Kirana.

After saying that to Tama, Kirana went back with Devan. Tama turned around and slapped his chest.

"I care about the Princess, I want the Princess to be happy".

Devan and Kirana are far away from Tama. Tama walked languidly until he reached the Villa. Seeing Tama who was so limp, Limburg said what happened. Then Tama just answered.

"It's my fault for introducing Princess to him"

Then Tama continued walking without paying any heed to Limbur.

"Who did you introduce? Tama, hey wait a minute".

Denok saw Limbur who was shouting to call Tama, and suddenly her curiosity appeared unstoppable. She walked quickly while carrying a basket of laundry to the security post.

"Hey, Limbur! What's going on?"

"Ah, that is a love stories at school,, Eh.. At the Villa! hihihi"

"Huh! Do we need to act recklessly?"

"What do you do? Don't be weird, the Princess will scold you later".

Kirana and Devan are now in the meeting room. Devan began to interview Kirana.

"So, how is the story of the snake demon's life?" asked Devan.

"Maybe I'm different from the other demons, but as far as I know they live a normal life like humans"

Kirana explains to Devan about the lives of the snake demons. Some of the snake demons that Kirana knows are demons who were born as snake demons. They are no different from humans, they also marry and have children. But the only difference is the world. Humans and demons coexist but in different worlds.

"Then is there a market and a mall in the snake demon realm?"

"Wow, don't get me wrong, In their world, there's even an airport!"

"Wow very interesting"

"Do you want to see it?" asked Kirana.

"Yes, but I only can go there when I'm off work"

"Easy, it can be arranged".

Devan finished today's interview with Kirana. Kirana was also invited to leave the meeting room, then Devan escorted her to the lobby. Unintentionally, the Caucasian Erick who looks like General John Willem saw Kirana and Devan from a distance.

"Wow, the new employee. Has started taking his girlfriend to the office during work hours."

Kirana is different from Tama. Tama is a spirit that has died so he is just like any other spirit that humans cannot see. Meanwhile, Kirana is a human who is cursed to become a snake demon, so that she can transform into a human at any time and can be seen by humans. As for Tama, even though he has magical powers, he can only turn into a human only at night.

After Kirana left Devan's office, Devan returned to his study. Suddenly Erick came to see him and asked him to come to his room immediately.
