"What are you taking care of?" I asked Damien as I followed closely behind him, my mind going to different places, bringing up different scenarios after he said he needed to take care of something

'Don't stress him, don't you see he looks stressed, he's trying to keep this whole thing a secret from the people he's supposed to be plain with, don't you feel pity for him?' Leila said and I so much want to bark at her but then I calmed myself

'And who was the one who insisted that no one should know about it? Don't try to act like this whole shit isn't your fault sis, it's getting on my nerves' I said before turning my attention, anticipating his reply

"It's nothing worth stressing you over, do not worry, why don't you go home, no, let me take you home, that's better," he said putting a hand on my shoulder but then I shrugged it off, is he kidding me? This is not the time for him to be telling me such a thing,is it?
