Capítulo 70: Coma

"Layla!" I screamed in utter anguish as I listened to my mate's heartbeat go slower, her scent go faint and her eyes closing despite my touch and calls

"I want to –" she whispered but didn't complete her sentence

"Layla?" I said giving her a light shake "Layla, don't close your eyes, stay with me!" I yelled now fully overcame by panic and pain

Still staring at her gaping wound which is supposed to be closed now, I felt dumbstruck, panicked, and in pain, what the fuck is going on? Did I mark her wrongly? What is wrong? Why did she faint?

"Layla! Layla Thompson!" I yelled desperately, hoping to get a reply, a response but all I got is nothing, absolutely nothing, she just lay down on the bed going pale

I got scared, she's going pale, doesn't that mean death?

"Damien! Are you alright?" I heard Claire say from the door as she banged on it but I couldn't reply to her, not when all I could think of is what to do next
