  Her head dropped , her hands falling off his neck, the fox swiftly caught it with his paw then steadily laid it on the tree. The paw began to transform to a hand followed by the fox's body that changed until it was a slender man kneeling by Arielle's side.

  He placed his five fingers on the tree and instantly the fallen leaflets and fruits turned to cotton balls . He lifted Arielle from her back and laid her on the pile after which he leaned in, his finger tips feathered her lips.

  He touched Arielle's hand as he shut his eyes then a red flame burning from within her chest flowed out of her body to his. He clenched his flinty jaws when the energy reached his chest. He stretched his free arm, aiming it at a distant tree then the energy flowed out through it and hit the tree immediately sitting it on fire.

  His lips parted releasing heavy breaths . "You were carrying too much, Nae Sarang, " He murmured.
