Capítulo 64: Greedy Magistrate

Inside the magistrate's cabin, a man sat on the chair sluggishly, picking his nose. Hearing a knock on his door, he said, "Come in," stretching the words. 

When he saw the four people in formals and boots he quickly straightened up and said, "My, councilmen here in my small cabin again. How may I help you?" 

Evelyn looked at the man in disgust. She would have definitely fallen for his honey-like sweet words if she hadn't known about him through Mr Saemus. She glanced at Elric and Mr Saemus who looked at him in boredom. 

"Oh Miss Evelyn, glad to have you here again," the magistrate said, bowing at him. 

She nodded at him and put on a fixed smile. Glancing at Elric, she saw him smirk to which she glared at him mentally. 

"We are here for Mr Hall's murder case," Elric stated. 

"Oh I see, I thought it was over," the magistrate said, perplexedly. 

"How do you know if the case is closed or not?" Mr Saemus asked with his evergreen stern face.
