Capítulo 246: Sixteen Years Later

The giggles of laughter echoed throughout the penthouse as Esme chased her six-year-old daughter with wiggling fingers and the threat to tickle Rhea if she didn't sit down for dinner. Her daughter was so rebellious and had a lot of attitude. Rhea was already aware that she was special, different to others, by being a hybrid between a vampire with Godly roots and a werewolf with shadow magic.

Rhea didn't quite understand the details, but she didn't need to in order to act like a princess. The little dark-haired girl squealed when Esme caught up to her and lifted her in the air before tickling her sides.

"Esme," Caden called softly from the other side of the penthouse, dancing with the 8-month-old in his arms. Caden had taken on the role of grandfather well. Esme was so happy to have him back in her life and now her children's lives.

Caden was still an Alpha, but he came weekly from the North to see Esme and her family.
