**ADDIE'S POV**
The usual start of term routine started. The other students arrived a week after me, Nolan, and the other professors did. We had the usual beginning of term assembly where all the new students were checked for their power levels, and as always the headmaster was checked as well.
The last time that it was checked, when it was just him and me, the headmaster had been at five hundred and nine. Since that time, and after all the meetings that we had attended together, he had gone up. Now he was at six hundred even. I didn't know if that was his max, or if it was just a coincidence that it stopped at such a rounded number, but it was clear that he and the other staff were excited about the power level going up.
