**HOLLIS'S POV**

I walked toward the Dining Hall with Ash. I knew that there were people watching us, that they were wondering why I was with this person. Not everyone was like those three idiots, but if Ash was like me, and he hadn't hidden it very well, then there would be rumors that followed us from here.

It didn't matter to me though. If there were rumors or not, I would be able to deal with it in the end. I would work hard for the future that Addie had told me was possible. Now that I had met Ash, now that he was here with me, I was starting to redouble my faith in that possibility.

I walked all the way to the Dining Hall with Ash, carrying his bag and having him gape at me the entire time. He didn't settle down the entire time. He was just staring at me like I was some sort of strange being that he had never seen before.
