**ADDIE'S POV**

I had kept really busy over the last several weeks leading up to the festival, but I wasn't able to fully avoid Juliana and her insistence to plan and prepare for the Winter Festival. I knew that she wanted me to help her and all that, but I would rather be working. I just wasn't into the whole party planning things.

I knew that I needed to help Juliana though. Not just because I was now a member of the royal family, but because she was my friend, and it was the right thing to do. And, on top of that, I might need to plan these events, or ones like them, on my own in the future. I needed to make sure that I was paying attention and learning as much as I could.
