Capítulo 102: Seeing Briar

**CATHERINE'S POV**

I was still concerned about that letter. I didn't know what it all meant. I didn't know why my sister would call this noble wolf in the city her uncle. And I definitely didn't know what we were all going to find when we went to visit Addie at that man's house.

And the bad thing is, I was the only one that seemed to be worried about it. Mom, Dad and Arthur didn't seem to think anything of the subtle little hints and clues that were in the letter. And when I tried to talk to them about it, they just brushed me off.

I don't get how they couldn't be concerned. With everything that had happened lately. With Addie having been taken from us and subjected to horrors the likes of which we would never know. I just didn't know how they were willing to overlook even the smallest of these details.
