Capítulo 53: What I'm Looking For

I don't know why Boberre was being so nice to me today. OK, he wasn't exactly being nice to me, since he had grabbed my arm so hard that it hurt, a lot. But he did buy me that headband that I had seen like it was nothing. Then, he took me to the market that primarily sold food. He knew that I wanted to buy ingredients. He just didn't know that I was looking for ingredients for a sleeping potion.

I think I was feeling a little hopeful when we got to that market. That was the place that I was most likely to see my father and my brother. And I knew that Boberre knew that too. That was probably the reason why he had stopped at the edge of the market and inhaled deeply. He was trying to see if he could smell my family here. When he took me into the market, I knew that they weren't there.
