She was upset but she knew if they were to marry this would be a possibility. After all Qie Xieling from what she heard was from a brothel and knew how to seduce a man better than she did. As long as he was demoted to a concubine and she became the main wife she would be able to have power over Qie Xieling. 

"Chen-ge'' she said playing her part convincingly, acting pitifully in an attempt to garner sympathy. "You can take that off as well... we wouldn't want rumours spreading," said Qie Xieling and Zi Mixen's face froze. She didn't think he would be this petty. Who would care especially when everyone knew that they would be together in the future?
