Jack was happily whistling…
[Ding! Top 10 Infinite Betrayal!]
[Thrown Your Students to Behemoths!]
[They Won't Ever Emotionally Recover From This!]
"Naw, I'm sure they'll definitely maybe be fine."
As Jack left despairing Newborns behind, even the system couldn't help but chime its comment. What kind of bastard would do something like this?!
He had trained them
He had given them hope
He had left them there to die!
Even now, the poor Newborns were struggling to survive atop the Fiery Behemoth's back. They kept avoiding the fire geysers while failing to cause any damage themselves.
As for getting off, that wasn't an option. The creature kept spawning Earthquakes as it rampaged! They could only stare in despair as Jack's silhouette was disappearing.
"Noooo! Please come back!"
"We'll listen to you. Don't go!"
"We'll keep stabbing, so please!"
Guess who managed to tame a behemoth? Not me. The best I had managed was to get it to move the way I wanted. As for actively getting it to do anything? NOPE!
