Capítulo 38: 38. Taranis Forest.
14th Jan 2300, 11:30 Pm (GMT +5:30)
"I didn't know shopping with girls can be this tiring. But still, that was a lot more fun than just aimlessly strolling around alone in a realistic but virtual environment."
Sunny was mumbling to himself as he lay on his bed with a content smile. He just returned home after spending the whole afternoon and evening with Trisha, Akane, and Bai Qian.
'And that smile was really beautiful.' That was his last thought before he fell asleep.
The next day, he logged into the game at his usual time, 11:00 Am.
He then went to the inn where he had the meeting in-game with the 3 girls.
When he arrived, the girls were already standing in front of the inn. Standing slightly behind them were the four Sword Genius's party members that he already knew from the [Instance Dungeon] event.
Sunny came in front of them and said, "So, I just have to give you the Gold Coins and Class Tokens and we will be ready to go after Fire and Shadow completes their Class Advancements, right?"
Sword replied, "About that, last time you said only 10 players will suffice. So, is there any limit on the number of players? Because Akane was in a party of 8 till now and every member of her party is gonna join the guild.
"Same with me, too. And Shadow operates alone. So, I was thinking if we can bring everyone?"
Sunny pondered for a moment, 'Hmm… that will be 15 players in total. And the limit of the dungeon is twenty players. And with me there, we will be able to easily breeze through the dungeon. So, there's no problem I guess.'
He said to Sword, "I think there won't be any problem. Here, I sent you the coins and tokens."
Sword redeemed the coins and tokens from the gifts tab. She then sent 5000 Gold Coins and the [Silver Fire Mage] token to Fire and the [Assassin in the Shadows] token to Shadow.
Sword said to Fire, "After completing your Class Advancement go back to Kagami Mount City and bring your party members to Orland City."
Fire replied "Okey dokey!" and went after Shadow who was already walking towards the direction of Noble Sector.
Sword, Sunny, and the four girls followed after them.
The girl Yu'er asked Qin Ming in a low voice on the way, "Why was Sister Qian asking that guy's permission earlier?"
Qin Ming replied, "I don't know. And it's not our business to know."
Yu'er pouted slightly and thought in her mind, 'Hmph! I will just ask Akane Big Sis. She will definitely answer. Although Sister Qian is very good to me, she is kinda strict too. On the other hand, Akane Big Sis is so much easier to hang around with.'
10 minutes later, the group was standing in front of the teleportation building. Akane went inside first as she was going to Kagami Mount City.
Then, Sword invited others into a party and they went inside together. Sword paid for the whole party as the party leader and they arrived in a similar but different teleportation room in a few moments.
The party waited outside the teleportation building for Akane's party to arrive while looking around. Everyone was slightly mesmerized by the ancient Egyptian-style buildings around.
Akane came out of the teleportation building with her party members five minutes after them. She then disbanded her party and joined Sword's party along with her party members.
Sunny then led everyone along the East Main Road towards the east of Orland City. After exiting the city, they walked further east towards a region where the sky was covered in dark purple clouds.
Sometimes, thunderous lightning strikes the forest below the dark purple clouds like divine punishment.
This forest i.e. Taranis Forest is a place where most of the monster possesses thunder or lightning elements attacks. Lightning element monsters are only found in the center of the forest where the density of lightning strikes is the highest.
The inner and peripheral region of the forest is mostly occupied by monsters that have thunder element-based attacks.
Fire asked Sunny as she noticed they were walking closer to the region covered in dark purple clouds, "Hey, isn't this area kinda dangerous? I mean, we may get hit by lightning strikes, right?"
Sword and Shadow looked at Sunny with a questioning gaze, too.
Sunny replied calmly, "Our destination is in the periphery of the forest. And the lightning only strikes the inner and core region of the Taranis Forest. So, we won't die suddenly."
The three girls nodded and continued following behind him. Yu'er approached Fire a few moments later and tugged on her mage robe. She signaled Fire to slow down slightly.
When both of them were slightly behind Sword and Shadow Yu'er asked Fire her previous question. Fire said, "Umm… I can't tell you what exactly happened. But, some superficial information won't hurt to share.
"Basically, he bought some of the Guild shares. So, he has some decision making rights now. That's all. You couldn't tell anyone about this, okay?"
Yu'er nodded while slightly shocked by the news.
15 minutes later, the party arrived in front of a large entrance of a burrow in the periphery of the forest.
Sunny looked at the 3 girls and said, "This is our destination. A dungeon filled with [Spark Rabbits]. They looked pretty much the same as [Single Horned Rabbit], but instead of white fur, they have purple-colored fur.
They also have a skill called *Shock Bolt* that paralyzes the target upon hit for 3 seconds. You guys should lead the dungeon raid now. I will follow from behind and intervene when necessary."
He then proceeded to stand at the back of the party. Sword came to the front and said to the party members, "As this will be our first time fighting together some blunder may happen. But, me, Shadow, Fire, and Chaos will be there to help you. So, don't be nervous and just play naturally. Alright?"
The party members: "Understood!"
Sword nodded and said, "Let's go!" She then strode into the large entrance while everyone else followed behind her except Shadow who overtook her to scout the situation ahead.
